It's exactly the same as the remote that vanished. Works great, holding up well.

I bought my Sony HT-Z9F soundbar open-box at Best Buy and it did not come with a controller. I decided to order this one as it is significantly cheaper than the Sony one and so far it has worked great and I have had no problems whatsoever! The remote connects to the soundbar automatically.

This remote works right out the box. Pop in some batteries and you're good to go. No set up required. I of course found the original remote the day after this arrived, but considering how inexpensive this was, I figured it was best to keep both handy.

I know it's scary to order a remote but this tool literally no setup (other than inserting the batteries)It came pre-programmed so once the batteries were in I was able to instantly use it for my HT-Z9F

This is an off brand remote so I was a little hesitant but went ahead and purchased. Description says no pairing needed. It worked perfectly with our sound bar. Good find
