Decent unit, worth it!
This is the day 3 review, I’ll come back in a month or so to do an update. This was a super easy install. This unit worked with my existing brackets in my 07 Xterra. All I needed to do was shave off the top part of the extra faceplate. And it covered up the hole on the bottom nicely. Unit functions just fine, everything is snappy, especially in CarPlay mode. Idk about other systems, but when you first set it up, don’t be alarmed if the Bluetooth disconnects when you plug in CarPlay, that’s on purpose. But when I disconnect the wire, it switches to Bluetooth quickly. This is NOT* the wireless unit. I’m ok with that because I’d rather my phone be charging too. Don’t forget to plug in the antenna. I think the unit uses it as part of the grounding, because the unit would shut off if I unplugged it. (I didn’t care about radio, but I guess I do now). The CarPlay/Aauto plug is a simple USB A female, so bring your own cord and find a spot to plug it in. I knocked out one of my empty slots, not pretty but functional. The only time I’ve seen the device slow down is when you scroll left to get to settings. But no other issues. Only other issue I had was that it arrived in original packaging, making it an easy target, glad I was home.

Easy install and great features for the price
Installed just like the radios if 20 years ago when we did it to make our beater first car sound cooler. Wives can radio broke and this fit the need perfect and gives extra features. Android audio works as expected. I don't have an iPhone to test their version but would expect no issues. It does not do wireless Android Auto but the USB cable worked just fine. Audio sounds great. Screen sits in our 2016 dodge grand caravan just like it was made for it. I tested the backup camera but have not installed it because I need an extension cable. I will update the review after all is installed.

Good low budget head unit with one glaring flaw!
The touch screen is great and the interface is very natural feeling and easy to navigate, for a low budget brand name its a very acceptable head unit with pre outs for front, rear and sub, BUT there is no way to adjust the High Pass, this is a big deal if you just want to use the head units power for the speakers but want to protect the speakers from excessive low end which can damage the speakers and use up valuable wattage, and often you need to set the High Pass higher like 120hz to protect the main speakers and have the sub set to 80hz or 100hz for best sound quality. The Good: Great touch screen and very intuitive to navigate the interface, Bluetooth sound quality is very good considering its inherent loses due to data compression. Also has a nice EQ built in and does have sub volume control. There is a SWC control option and unit is very responsive to the touch and seems to have a CPU that is not being overworked. Looks great in the dash. The Bad: While the head unit does have Sub volume adjustments the unit is lacking High Pass adjustments for proper Sub setup and protection of the main speakers... this is a BIG deal IMHO. Also Apple Car Play and Android Car Play must use the wired connection which is only available on the back of the unit.

The disappointments just keep coming...
I've owned several Jensen products over the years and have always been satisfied, until now. The installation was uneventful and basic features work well. When I installed the backup camera in the only available location on my truck, the image is upside down. No problem, right? Just go into the settings menu and invert the image like the other entry level stereos in my other cars. Nope- no option for that. Okay, buy a different camera that can be flipped in the mount for an additional $25. Fired up the Samsung and connected to the radio fairly easily. Received a call and the other party could not hear me unless I was yelling, even though the microphone is in close proximity to my head. Once again, the other entry level receivers have menu settings for noise cancellation, in-call speaker volume, and microphone gain. Not this one. So, I'm still using the phone's built in speakerphone. Finally, I tried using Android Auto and screen mirroring for Google Maps. Even though my phone is up to date, the receiver refuses to connect because it thinks my phone's OS is out of date. One of the generic $60 wireless touchscreen devices that plays through the original radio would have been a better investment.

I like the radio.
Easy to install and work good. Could have more avaliable power to the speakers but all in all a good buy. Easy to use interface and the apple car play feature is nice to have.

Flawless interface android auto
Just replaced Atoto unit. 2000 Toyota Tundra. Fits perfect in the dash. Don't buy Atoto. This stereo Zensen is so easy to install and flawless interface to Android auto. Got it and installed within a hour. It's very simple and user friendly. Don't let the brand scare you. Jensen has been in business making electronic forever. If you are just looking for simple android auto that works and sounds good get this. I hated the Atoto unit that was constantly dropping android auto signal. Tried everything but couldn't get it working. Atoto does have more features but they are just useless apps and functions that I don't need or want. Their software is very glitchy do to that fact of having so many options. I just returned the Atoto back to Amazon. I will never buy another NO named Chinese brand.
