Audiovox SIRHK1 Sirius Satellite Radio Home Dock

I've been using my Sirius SIRPNP2 receiver since 2004, when Howard first announced his signing. Originally, I had an Audiovox boombox to use with the Sirius unit, but it would frequently overheat. The boomboxes have a design flaw in that air does not circulate around the unit, causing it to overheat. This dock, however, is what I call an "open air" unit, in that much more heat is released form the unit, causing it to operate much more better/ I highly suggest this over any boombox. the one they have in the picture is not the same one i bought and does not fit my radio

I know nothing of satellite radio but I read the description and, from what I read, was led to believe once I bought this product the person I was giving it too could use it to pick up satellite radio with a mere subscription. Now it seems a receiver is missing. Nothing in the ad said such a thing or that a receiver was needed. I feel I've been mislead and, with Christmas very near, cannot return the product since it was the only gift I was giving this person.
