100% Organic Cat Grass Seed (Non GMO) 8oz

I'm picky about what I give my cats, and they have their own cat save indoor garden to enjoy. My cats are obsessed with this, I had to get a bigger pot to grow a larger amount because they destroy a small pot of it in just a few days! It grows SO FAST though so it's easy to grow more when you need to. Best cat grass ever! All 8 cats approve 👏

It's easy to grow this grass and my cats love it! I just use an aluminum roasting pan, put in about an inch and a half of potting soil, sprinkle on seeds, then cover them with more potting soil (1/4 inch or so). Water and wait. When the grass is around 3" tall, I give it to my cats. If you don't forget to water it, it'll last a long time. Eventually the roots get too crowded and you have to toss that pan and do it again.

Followed the easy, straightforward instructions, and in four days the grass was already four inches long – and just in time to relieve my cat's temporary stomach upset after a brief scarf-n-barf episode. Thanks to the reviewer who mentioned that their cat had trouble eating cat grass because, while trying to nibble the blades at the edges, the grass in the center would tickle the cat's nose, making it sneeze. While my cat doesn't have that issue, the little square containers of densely-sown, ready-grown cat grass don't really allow most cats to get at the center, as they generally just nibble along the perimeter. So, because I was planting the grass seeds myself, I distributed the seeds only around the edges of the pot, and not so close together. This morning – my cat's first go with this "home-grown" grass, I could see that she found it much easier get hold of a few blades and actually manage to ingest them. Also, planting just around the edges of a pot doesn't waste seed. So glad to have finally decided to just buy seeds, as my cat's previously preferred brand of ready-to-eat cat grass was getting harder to find in stock, and the quality was getting iffy. The Cat Ladies' seed couldn't be easier to plant and grow, and being able to place the seeds where a cat can more easily get their teeth into the blades of grass is a game-changer. Should have thought of this sooner! And, as I'm no longer wasting money on pre-grown grass, and I'm using very little seed, I can afford to toss the fully grown grass before it starts to attract those pesky little flies. If, like me, you've been buying ready-grown cat grass, try this. It's fun to watch the amazingly quick growth progress, and you can place the seeds in the soil in a way that allows your cat easy eating access. A definite win for cats AND their humans.

I've been buying this cat grass seed from The Cat Ladies for years. It has a really good germination rate, and the cats seem to enjoy it the most. It smells very fresh after they've been at it.

Well, we moved to the big city, so no more yard grass. Freddie loves this stuff. Eartha is not yet convinced, and she used to chow down on the yard grass. It grows pretty well but not 100%. Maybe that's pretty normal for seeds, especially organic. I guess it's good.

I have been ordering and using this grass seed for over a year now and have been continually impressed by how well it grows! This is much more economical than buying pre-grown wheat grass or cat grass from a store. It also seems to last longer. I first ordered it at the advice of a plant seller at a local market. Of course their tables were filled with full grown grass in fancy containers, but I think it's more fun and easier on my wallet to plant these seeds in my own cute containers, have my kids help with the planting and then watch the grass grow together. We plant these seeds using these expandable pods, The Cat Ladies Potting Soil for Indoor/Outdoor Plants. It is a combination that works well. A little bit goes a long way with the seeds. One bag will last you a while.

This seed sprouts and grows quickly. It is easy to grow. I use the peat moss disks from the cat lady to grow these seeds. I do see wispy mold on the dirt if I over water but it does not bother the cat. It is a pretty color green and grows to about 8" high.

Big hit with all my cats, they get so excited! It grows fast and gets continued uses after a week or two.

Ich habe die Grassamen für meine Hunde bestellt, da vor allem im Winter nicht immer Gras zum Fressen in Hülle und Fülle vorhanden ist.
