High value; hugely functional
I spent days trying to find an affordable, lightweight tent for backpacking. Unless you shell out $300+ you're not going to find anything. That is, unless you're fortunate enough to stumble onto this little bad boy. This thing is high value. As the picture shows, it'll comfortably fit two. I actually did two trips with myself and two kids (that's three). We had to lay sideways, but it wasn't too bad. The design is simply outstanding: great stitching, quality material, well thought-out zippers. The pegs are a nice, lightweight aluminum. It takes 5 or 6 minutes to setup and is lightweight enough to take backpacking. We did a 10-miler with this very comfortably. What's the catch? There really isn't one. Basically, it just doesn't have a frame. It uses a long paracord-type string that you can either (1) connect to two trees either side of the tent with a truckers hitch knot (kind of like setting up a hammock), or (2) you just place your hiking poles or a sturdy stick you find laying on the ground on either entrance to the tent. When you stabilize the sticks by pegging down your guide rope, this thing is as sturdy as any $300-500 REI special. Because it's so simple, there's less that can break. I'm thinking of switching out all my tents for two or three of these. If you're backpacking or just tent camping at a campsite, this will serve you very very well.

Lightweight, Easy Setup, Great Value
This trekking pole tent was easy to set up and has worked well overall. On my first use, I made the mistake of letting my dogs sleep in the tent with me, which led to a lot of condensation inside—likely from the extra moisture overnight. On subsequent trips, I made sure to use a rain guard, and that made a big difference. For the price, this is a great tent: lightweight, easy to carry, and well suited for overnight hiking or backpacking trips.

The Only Review I've Ever Left
I was so impressed by this tent I decided to leave a product review for the first time in my 10+ years of buying off amazon. My wife and I backpacked up a mountain and this tent held up through a wind storm at over 9000 feet in an open meadow. On top of that it's extremely light weight and the fact that it uses trekking poles allows us to spare even more weight and room in the packs. It was a quick and easy setup and breakdown. It rolls right up and fits back in the bag without any struggle. The inside was spacious enough for my wife and I, plus all our stuff, to fit comfortably. I really can't believe how great this thing is for being the literal cheapest 2 person tent on the market. There are only 2 cons I found: 1) It was very loud. We had to prop our shoes up on the door flies to keep them from rustling around all night. However, it should be considered that we were in some pretty extreme winds in an open area. 2) Lots of condensation build up in the morning. Not a huge deal and to be expected with any single wall tent when the temps outside drop. We turned it inside out and laid it in the sun to dry when we got home. By no means a deal-breaker but just something to consider if you're camping in the cold. Overall the cons are nothing compared to the pros, I remain VERY impressed with this tent.

I was dry and bug free
This tent seems to be a great value! I needed a tent for a recent backpacking trip, and this could be delivered the next day for less than a quarter of the price of other tents. I wasn’t expecting much, but this tent performed great! It was easy to setup, it shed the light rain that happened, and it kept the mosquitoes out! It was light weight which was good for backpacking. It did require two trekking poles for the main supports, but they were part of my pack already! My only initial concern was the smell of the tent when I first received it. It smelled like fish to me. But after a few hours set up, the smell was gone. All in all, a good tent!

NOT WATERPROOF ... Will not even hold morning mist
Tent assembles nicely, it's lightweight (but not as much as I thought it would). The big problem is that it's not waterproof. I went camping to a beach campground and the morning mist, which was not that much, got inside the tent. This tent WILL NOT work with light rain. I'm returning this item because even thought it was super comfy for me (one person), and I believe it would be able to hold two relatively small people like myself (I'm 5.4") it does not serve the purpose I was looking for. Also, it was hot during the day, and inside the tent was SO difficult to breathe even though I had both sides opened and just the net closed to avoid getting too many bugs inside.

Nice Tent - great for backpacking
Very nice light weight tent. Easy to carry and very easy to assemble. Nice size for 2 ppl. Ventilation on both ends. We covered with a tarp for extra protection in heavy rain but felt it had good protection from the elements.

It’s ok
I sprayed it with waterproofing before trying it out. It was fine but I did wake up with some water along the seams of the floor. Came with a hole so I patched it right away. Easy to set up. Held up to some incredible winds coming off the lake during a mountain storm. It’s long but feels narrow especially since the sides do sag in. All in all it worked for me and my dog and was an inexpensive, lightweight option when I didn’t want to bring a bigger tent and hammock wasn’t an option.

Lightest budget tent you can get.
I really wanted to love this tent. And I did other than the amount of condensation that builds up on the sides. This tent is pretty rock solid but it lacks a bit of venting. For the cost to weight ratio you can’t beat this tent though. Would 100% take this tent out again even though I did end up upgrading after a few trips. Great size tent for 1 person but could definitely fit 2 people.

A light tent which needs walking sticks to be pitched. Will be very nice for fair weather with a wire mesh on both sides. May not be good for winters and snow. Took it out for some camping in rain. The cloth got wet and sagged a bit due to increase in weight. Anything touching the walls of the tent got wet. Space is enough for two people if you’re not using a thick mattress. Otherwise it is a bit congested with barely any space for luggage. All in all a good tent for fair weather hiking trips.

Worked well for me in the dry climate of Arizona in November. It is supposed to be a 2-person, but it will only really fit one.

Tent doesn’t come with poles. You have to buy trekking poles separately and honestly it’s kind of a dumb tent

My wife and I took it hiking on a coastal trail. It rained throughout the night and all night the "composite waterproof tape" leaked drastically, soaking everything. The light hook acted as a perfect drain to leak directly on to our faces. We tried for hours to ensure all was tight, set up nicely, under a tree but still could not escape the rain which was not a downpour but a constant drizzle all night. One of the worst nights I have had camping in YEARS. I would give it 1 star but I bumped it up to 2 stars only because it was quick and simple to setup. Save your money, invest in something that is a bit more expensive and will keep you protected from the elements.
