How does the air vent work? Do you have to pierce it or turn the box upside down?

No need to pierce the vent. It is designed to allow air in without liquid getting out. Just turn the Tetra container upside down for the nutrition to flow.

Will this work with Boost/Ensure containers?

Hi - The Bolink D Cap will work if the Ensure carton has a spout with a plastic base that folds over the front of the carton. Some Ensure cartons do, but not all, so we can't give a definitive answer. This pictures in the listing show show what the spout needs to look like.

Fits bolee bag? Need separate mixing container/bag for feeds.

The Bolink Large Cap is the product that fits on Bolee Bags. The Bolink D Cap fits on cartons of nutrition, not the Bolee Bag.

Is there measuring bottle with the DreamCap connection?

No there is no measuring cup. The connection would be attached directly to the liquid food supplement container. To flush the tubing afterwards you can pour water into the finished container and put it through the hose or disconnect the container and attach a syringe and flush like you normally would.
