Nice tool
It is a bit larger and bulky, which makes it hard to use when the copper is in the wall or ceiling, but for cutting new pipe its size makes it nicer in the hand. It cuts well and has not started to make spirals, even though I have already dropped it a lot. Adjustments are smooth. I like it a lot and I hope it continues to hold up.

Works very well on copper, okay on PVC, but not on PEX
This tool makes a very square cut in tubing, including in copper and PVC. On copper, it leaves a very slight bur on the inside of the pipe. On PVC, it leaves a bit of a mound on the outside as the blade gets pressed deeper into the pipe; this mound has to be removed in order for the pipe to slide into fittings. PEX is too soft for this tool to work. Scissor-like tools seem to work best. You do need a lot of room to use this tool; that is, you need about 4" or 5" of space on all sides of the pipe that is being cut.

Cutting capacity is not accurate!!!
Why can't some sellers, like this one, be honest and accurate in their descriptions?? I bought this tubing cutter to cut 1.375" OD brass tubing, which the description says will fit. Not true, as you can see in the photo. It lacks 1/8" of opening to 1-3/8" which means the max tube size that will fit is 1-1/4" OD. It is well built, but it's useless to me for this project.

High quality tubing cutter
To be fair the amount of tubing, plastic and copper, that I’m cutting is considered low volume. But I was dreading cutting time because of all the ancillary work involved in getting a final nice straight and clean cut. Find the fixture to hold the material to have a perpendicular cut with the right metal or thin metal blade. Then find my deburring tool, deburr the cut, use some sand paper and finally have clean edges for connecting. This tubing cutter addresses most of these issues. It has a wide tube holder against the blade, ensuring a true 90 degrees cut. The way that the blade cuts, in small increments, reduces tremendously the need to deburr and smoothen the edges. It is a good value for money, extremely durable unit and very easy to use. Note that there is nothing free, and you’ll have to be a bit patient when cutting, dial in the blade rotate, and repeat. It is not an instantaneous cut.

Buttery smooth action!
This is my first time using an all roller bearing pipe cutting tool. Wow, super impressed with the ease of use and low effort with the smooth ball bearing supported pivots! My prior experience is with only the RIGID brand tools with the steel rollers and no bearings. This tool is robust and solidly constructed of a cast allow of some sort. It has the heft and the smooth action of the knob makes one think they're using a much more precision instrument and not a simple pipe cutting tool you make a few rounds with. The sides of the main body have these black isolators or "bumpers" for either impact or keeping the tool from sliding off if working on smooth angled surfaces. Nice functional details like this make this worthwhile and add value.
