Great price for a great toy!
My cat Sabo loves this mouse! Literally the 3rd time buying it. Yeah the string wears down after a month but he actively plays with the toy often for $6 not a bad at all! He tries to take the mouse to bed with us too that's how much he loves it!

Cats love it! Won't last forever, but I think it's still a win
This has kept my very very energetic cat occupied. The rat makes a crinkling plastic sound when grabbed and he loves it. Admittedly, it's only been a day in and the string is getting frayed, but my cat's gotten five hours of play from it so I'm counting this as a win! Was thinking of retying the string if it breaks, or getting a replacement string.

BEST CAT TOY IN THE WORLD (for about ten minutes).
My cats have never been so excited about a toy! They absolutely love this, and play with it almost non-stop. The problem is, the string keeps breaking. We have tied the mouse back on so many times that the string is now almost too short for them to reach. I wish I could have given 5+ stars, because that is what this toy would deserve if it held up better. I guess we'll just keep fixing it until the string is gone!

Kitty-approved!
I have 2 cats (3 & 4 years old, both very playful) and bought this with the younger in mind. He is very active and can get restless, and loves "fishing pole" type and interactive toys. This was a huge hit with him! (My other cat was also initially very interested, but I think has since been a bit intimidated by the wild ways his brother plays with it.)We've had it for a bit under 3 weeks, and the 3yo cat (pictured) plays with it multiple times a day. Sometimes that's just laying under it and batting at it... all the way up to carrying the mouse in his mouth, up to 15+ feet away, and letting it wildly spring back. Be sure to hang it in a doorway without any especially fragile items nearby, because of that! (Several times I've had to retrieve it after it bounced back so wildly as to get hung up on the door hinges or a nearby object.)I did find the same issue others have noticed-- most doorways are far too wide for the top part to fully grip around, but I hung it somewhat sideways on part of the door frame and it has had no issues staying in place, even with my cat dragging the mouse toy all over our home and then letting it bounce back with force. This will likely become a go-to gift for anyone I know with a playful young cat.ETA: if your cat plays with it as wildly as mine does (carrying it off to let it spring back), you'll find that soon the mouse starts to be "skinned." I saw that was happening and ordered a 2-pack to have on backup. Today (after just under 2 months of use) I saw that the elastic cord had broken, near the mouse, so put up a replacement. I'll likely try to add a few stitches to the new ones to help keep the fabric covering from coming off the rattle-y plastic mouse base form as quickly (as if that part had been intact, I could have just re-tied the elastic cord pieces together). Even if it continues to need regular replacement, though, this remains a 5/5 star cat toy for the price and how much regular play and enrichment he gets out of it!

Very entertaining but not long lasting
My cats loved it and were playing with it immediately… only issue is the string that it is attached to they broke within an hour of playing with it. I have tied the mouse back to it several times only for them to break it again. Seems to keep the stimulated when it is attached to the string and hanging, once it’s been broken off they don’t play with the mouse

2nd time, 2nd house buying for.
Cat has a BLAST with toy so much so that I had to buy a 2nd one. He broke the mouse as he likes to grab it run off with it and watch it sling back. Cracks me up! Cheap price which is awesome (as you can put it in more than 1 door frame), but actually fairly sturdy as my Ragdoll is strong, fiesty as hell AND a 1yr old heavy boy...lolSorry no video but I think I posted video the 1st time I reviewed the 1st one I bought.

Great toy for the price. Cats intrigued.
When it arrived I thought it was too cheaply made to last more than 5 minutes. But gave it a try and it holds firm. One cat plays with the mouse while the other stretched over the door frame to inspect the hanger. Cats happy. Mom pleased.

Best cat toy ever.
I purchased this in march of 2024. From day one it’s been my cats favorite toy. She plays with it EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. It no longer has eyes, or ears, or even a tail from the amount of abuse she has put it through. And despite this, she still plays with it. I recently clipped one of those fuzzy worms on it to replace the tail. Best $8 I’ve ever spent on a cat toy. Well worth it. I just leave it up in my bedroom doorway since I never close it. I have seen my cat do some of the craziest mid air flips while playing with this thing, it’s very entertaining for both of us. The only con is sometimes she starts playing with it in the middle of the night, but that’s a cat for you.
