The hookup by pushing a button. So you need a ladder to reach the garage door opener. That's the only hassle.

These remotes did not work. That's not just me saying that, it was handymen and garage door people. These were a waste of money and I will be returning them ASAP.

Easy to program has all three working in a matter of minutes. Great replacements or for extras.

Since these are universal, they work for many brands. And each brand will require a different way to program. After several tries, I finally got it. But I somehow programed 2 remotes to the same door, and I for the life of me, cannot figure out how to “clear” the programmed code. If I try to just reprogram it with the other door, I have to press the button to program it, which ends up opening the accidentally programed door. But once you finally get it programmed right, it works great.

after 3 hours of fighting with these to program to my garage door.. i gave up... once again.. cheap isnt good and good isnt cheap.. dont bother with these.. pay more for ones that WORK!
