Excellent product for the price, love the portability and quality was adequate.Would recommend it.Opened up and checked circuitry quality, it was up to snuff, well built.

So far so good
I've only used this a couple of times so far but it's been great. Easy controls, nice display. AC and DC inputs. My only critique is that the DC input is not switched; as soon as a battery is connected it will turn on. I don't think there is a way to power it off via the knob/screen controls.

Clone or not it’s a good iron
Clone or not it’s a good iron that out performs my Hakka 888 iron. Just wish it came with a T12 holder but for $15 one can be added to your order. I also like the handle better than the plastic one with the rubber grip, it just fits your hand better. If you are in the fence like I was do yourself a favor and get it. You can thank me later. 😜

Not impressed with this soldering station
I've been putting this soldering station through its paces since it arrived, and unfortunately, I'm not very impressed. Here are the issues I've encountered so far:The manual included in the package doesn't match the product. The instructions for installing and removing tips don't match between the instructions and the device. Neither do the menus for adjustments. The assortment of "T12" tips provided with this kit does not include perhaps the most useful type for typical through-hole and SMD work. There are NO chisel tips included. Several of the included tips are of a more specialty type (curved conical and knife tips) that you might use only occasionally. Yes, you can buy different replacement tips, but why not include more tips you might actually use instead of these specialty tips?Even running this iron at a modest 325°C, the tips seem to oxidize quickly - must faster than T15/T12 tips from Hakko. While they worked okay in my testing, I can see these tips won't last very long in regular use.The menus and user interface are 'clunky' at best. There doesn't appear to be a method of exiting from the menus once making a setting change. I ended up making the change, getting back to the main menu, then turning the iron off and back on again. As noted above, the manual doesn't help much since the menus don't match between the device and the manual. While I like the idea of a dual-powered AC/DC device, the 24VDC/4A input isn't particularly useful to me. I'd love to see this utilize a 12VDC input - even at a 2x higher required input current.So... overall, I'm not very impressed with this soldering station, particularly for the price. For another $25 or so, you can purchase a much more robust Hakko FX-888. Yes, it doesn't use the T12/T15 style tips, but it's going to be a much more worthwhile purchase.

Garbage
Really doesn’t work at all. I had to jiggle it quite a bit to come on for the first time. Immediately the temperature starts jumping around by hundreds of degrees. It was then I knew this was too good to be true but I still played with it a bit. If I turn the temp up above 300 it intermittently beeps telling me the hand piece is missing despite remaining warm enough to melt solder. Maybe I just need to try some different tips but I doubt it. The hand piece feels ok in the hand and grasps the tip far better than my expensive Hakko which uses the same tips. I really wanted this to work but it’s inability to regulate temp with an error +/- 100 C while constantly beeping makes it mostly worthless. I plan to request a returnless refund for this nonsense and donate it to someone I don’t like. I should have just bought the expensive Pace rework station.

Needs
I had a similar problem to someone else where when I had a tip in it would beep and the temperature readout would jump around by a few hundred degrees. It's a pretty easy fix though I just removed the mercury switch from the handle because it was faulty.Other than that it's been functioning great, and the tip is properly grounded.
