Vey hot and very strong and no expensive

Best hotplate I've owned. Very powerful and heat settings actually work - from simmer to boiling. Easy to keep clean, and attractive to look at. Well worth the price.

Moved to a new job, and while looking for a place to buy was put-up in a sort of flat belonging to the university. It just had a microwave and nothing else. I like to cook, and so bought this, and another product as an oven. Worked great. Lived in the flat for 5 months, and more-or-less used this daily (Sunday lunches cooked too).

Living in a small place and not having a proper cooker at the moment left me in a real dilemma in what to do about cooking and heating food in a frying pan or saucepan, I decided that I needed a hotplate, so I browsed through the various hotplates on Amazon until I spotted the Cusimax hotplate. I just had instant energy to purchase it, and I was not mistaken. When it arrived, it was in a nice box and the instruction. The manual was comprehensive and straightforward, and the plate had a nice sticker on here to say that it needed to be switched on for 5 minutes without any appliance on it to let the coating heat up. What impressed me more than anything is the speed that it heats the food and it is quicker than standard gas or electric cooker ring, The hotplate is nice and compact and fits well in any kitchen especially one like mine where there is not much space. I am so happy with this purchase, and I can now have some lovely home-cooked soups etc.

I have been looking for a work top hob for a while, when I had my kitchen up dated I thought I would not have a built in hob as I don't have much work surface that was not the best idea I had ! I tried three different types of portable hobs but found them hard to control. This is easy to operate and it maintains a low simmer which the other didn't ,it heats up quickly is easy to clean just a damp cloth and it also looks good. When it has cooled down I pop it in a cupboard job done.

useless, I should have read the 1 star reviews. Ditto, absolutely not fit for purpose, there is no temperature control only on or off regardless of the setting and it will not maintain any reasonable heat to cook food properly

This hot plate was a present for my son in his new flat but unfortunately we found one of the burners with several cracks in it when we turned it on for the first time.
