Easy to identify low or high lectin foods
Good info and easy to access. I had multiple other not common foods that I could not findI believe more testing needs to be done to expand the list.

Good if you have a food intolerance...
Suffering from a food intolerance might make this book useful with a doctor's recommendations. I do like the numbering system with foods to consume and avoid. However, this information is all subjective and guesswork. The book even mentions lectin resources being highly debatable on accuracy. So, how would we as eaters truly know how reliable this information is? Phrases such as "test carefully" and "unsure" does not embody me with much confidence in lectin selections. I suppose this is useful information for you to experiment with and I take nothing away from the research. Just would have preferred a more concrete plan of action consuming lectin-based foods.

Info for the mind
Written to be practical, not mechanical. Your favorite foods are painted as rolling hills, with some being steep climbs or gentle slopes, and many somewhere in between. All in moderation ...

Useful little handbook but a couple of errors
It's really nice that someone compiled all of this information into one easy-to-carry little book. I like the rating system of 1-5 rather than a yes/no approach.I did find a couple of errors, but both are foods that are not super-common generally.Cactus Pears: The authors state these are also called nopales and that is incorrect. The pears, also called "tuna", and nopales both come from the prickly pear cactus, but the pears are the fruit, while nopales are the "leaves" or paddles from the cactus.Lamb's Lettuce, also called "corn salad" or "mâche" is a leafy green. There is no corn involved. There are salads made from corn kernels, but they are not at all related to lamb's lettuce.
