does the job
Works for me i just wanted a mat to sit my iron on its heel on my board - and this is fine for me as i dont tend to put my iron down flat on the surface of the mat - stays sturdy on its heel on this mat as my old iron leaked onto my new cover so at least it will stop any marks going on the board

Surprisingly good item
When it arrives you think it can't possibly take the heat of the iron - but it does! The iron plate on our board had gone rusty, so we were considering buying a new one which seemed very environmental. Then I saw this. I simply put it on the the rusty plate and use the board as normal! Brilliant!

A must have black silicone for iron, ironing board.
