Amazing and works. I use this like a deodorant stick. I lightly wet it and apply generously. I use another natural deodorant over top for some pleasant scent (this smells like nothing) and it last and lasts! I feel like it's a cool secret no one knows about.

Well, I'm going to tell you why I bought this item. I bought it to use as a deodorant, and I have to say it worked great. It doesn't leave me smelling bad, and it clarifies... Later I saw that they also had it in deodorant form, so I switched to that one... but I loved this one, and it comes with good-sized pieces of stone.

These stones work well. The price is based on basic presentation it is delivered. Anywhere else you would pay twice as much for a pre-polished stone. That being said you can expect 2 cons: 1)they are a bit hard to hold onto and 2)you need to file them so you don't scratch up your skin If you use stones like this though you will be prepared and comfortable with filing down your stone. I keep mine on a soap holder on my counter. These stones work well and really combat any odors. I am pleased with my purchase and feel the size of each stone was generous. This review is for Our Earth's Secrets - Alum Stone - 1 Pound bag. Good deal on large pieces of alum. One very large chunk, and then a few smaller ones. Smaller ones are around 1.8-2 oz each. Packaging could use some work - it’s a paper type bag, much like what some bulk tea would use. The bottom had a large hole, and two smaller ones - the large chunk was not going to fall through there, but the other smaller pieces might have. Weighed the package on a scale, it was 28 grams over the advertised weight, so if any fell out, still ahead. I taped the bottom of the bag with some foil tape I had laying around, and put the whole thing in a repurposed ziploc bag. I guess the only downside to this would be that the packaging might let enough fall out and returning that would maybe be inconvenient. Chunk sizes might not work for you as well, depending on use. I just needed something inexpensive to dissolve in water to make a deodorant spray, so this works just fine. Upside is it’s a great deal for the amount you get.

This is the best bulk alum product that I have tried. Almost all of the alum providers are the same so it depends on how much you get for the money and this supplier is the best price that I have found. It is great as a follow-up after facial shaving with cold water to heal the skin and close the pores. Additionally it is a replacement for underarm deodorant as alum is an astringent, thereby closing pores so no sweat occurs. That's the good news......NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS......AMAZON SHIPS THIS IN A PLASTIC ENVELOPE THAT ALLOWS THE ALUM CRYSTALS TO SHATTER AND MAKE HALF OF IT UNUSABLE ! THIS HAS HAPPENED ON TWO ORDERS !
