One Watch Collection
I've been wearing this watch for about a week now on my days off from work. If I'm not wearing my g shock while working or doing yard work, camping or swimming it's going to be on my wrist. This one does it all- wave synch adjustment (it's synched for me every night in a window sill and once on my wrist), solar charging (it charges well even in dreary Michigan winter overcast light by a window), multiple alarms, stop watches, and timers (I don't know how much I'll use them, but it's nice to have), world time and time zone synch will be nice to have for travel. The dial is beautiful and works with anything you're wearing. It's dressy enough to wear with a suit (especially with a leather strap- 20mm width gives you a lot of options) or casually for everyday wear. I don't worry about the glass scratching with the sapphire crystal. The titanium band is pretty good- it's very light. It feels a little cheap, but for the price point it's great. The band sizing system and tool is very convenient and super fast. Not a ton of options for half sizes, but if you get it to the last link where it doesn't feel too tight and use the micro adjust on the clasp it works well enough. The micro adjustments make a surprising amount of difference, and I like wearing my watch a little loose, so I don't mind it. We'll see how much it accumulates scratches- I've already got a couple small ones on the inside if the band. I'm not too concerned... just adds a bit of character. The lume is decent (haven't had a lot of opportunities to test it yet in bright light going into dark). The LED backlight is ok and a nice feature in pitch black- You can make out the hand shapes easily... To read the digital window a trick I learned is to put your finger over where the light is on the crystal and you can see it a lot easier.*Minor gripes*The watch wears little smaller than I anticipated on my 7 inch wrist, but I'm getting used to it. I personally would have preferred a 40 inch case for an everyday watch I think... not a deal breaker, and I may grow to prefer it.The lack of half links and/or more micro adjustments on the clasp is a little disappointing, but it's totally doable. It would have been nice if Casio had added a couple more microadjust positions. The digital display is decent, but mine can only be read clearly if I look straight at it. The digital display on my g shock DW5600 is a lot better.I would have preferred a Casio EL backlight.------------------------------------A fantastic watch for a steal of a price. Sapphire glass and titanium for under $200 is unbelievable. With this and and a g shock for a beater it will be hard to "justify" more watch purchases. Buy it.

Best watch I own!
Truly one of the best watches out there, its functional, beautiful, and well built. It has a sapphire crystal and the body and bracelet are titanium making this watch sturdy but lightweight. The solar power and wave-ceptor make it convenient, as well as the many functions the watch has like timer, worldtime, stopwatch, etc. One thing that really brings it together is how good the lume is. i can spend just a bit of time inside then go out into the dark and still see the hands and indices. Even without the lume there would still be the illuminator which is surprisingly effective. The only complaints i could give are that the seconds hand is very hard to see in most light as it is thin and very reflective, this doesn't bother me much since i don't really need the seconds hand often anyway. The other thing is that the bracelet has very little fine adjustment so for my particular wrist size it is either a bit loose or a bit tight, kind of a non issue since you can always put it any any other strap or bracelet if it bothers you.

This Casio Lineage watch is beautiful and a pleasure to wear. The titanium body is light weight. The sapphire crystal is highly scratch resistant. It gets nightly updates from the atomic clock. Plus a Solar battery. :-)

this watch fulfills everything!
I've been looking for a watch for a few months now and every time I narrowed it down, this watch kept winning the battle. Sapphire, solar, titanium, 64g - light weight, less than $200, atomic clock synch accuracy, 39ish mm, 9.4mm thick, BEAUTIFUL dial, lume, stop watch, timer, etc. Just an incredible value. I guess only down side is that because it's a JDM product, the Casio warranty is not valid in USA. Hopefully it will last a long time.

go for it
I sailed from Ireland to Portugal with the watch. Changing time zones in Ireland was a cinch. The radio receiver found the European signal and continued to correct the time. I like how thin and light this watch is. I could read the hands at any time night and day. I recognize the digital panel is not visible with the built-in light but I had a headlamp for that. It looks good, functional, and value for the money. It checks all the boxes. Finally, keeping track of the day when you are offshore is very useful. They all blend together. Don't be scared by the instructions. The watch is fairly intuitive.
