I got one of those on each one of my Keyrings. It's the perfect way NOT to lose or misplace your usual USB Drives because chances are you will always have your Keys with you and this is the best way to take Date with you. I've had some on my Keyring for over a Year, they are robust, waterproof and can take a beating since they are made of metal. Plus at the 32 Gig size, it's enough storage to fit most everyday needs. Plus getting five of those for $20 is still way cheaper than conventional Flash Drives... and they look cool as well.

I wouldn't put any important data on these. However, they are great for keeping live-bootable OS images or installer images on them. Their color coding and size make them ideal for that. Plus, the key shape makes them pretty novel and fun to put on a key chain with any other USB drives you might have. Why not put any important data on these? Well, one of the five failed a quick size test using RMprepUSB with a usable size of 10GB. I did this test after trying these out and noticing their absolutely terrible read/write speed, even for USB 2.0. I ended up using Ubuntu to "Erase" the drives before getting any decent write speeds. The read speeds are and continue to be great though which is why I see these as perfect for live-bootables and installer USBs. At the end of the day, it was great value for my money despite the slight annoyance of having to use two Operating systems to erase and then format the drives. I essentially got four 32GB sticks for $20 which is a little better than SanDisk's 3 32GB sticks for the same price at Walmart. I wouldn't trust these out of the box with my main home computer, but after cleaning and testing, I trust them enough to hold some data. I still wouldn't put anything important on them as, with one failure already, it's both a lottery and a matter of time before another drive starts to fail and the bad one fails catastrophically.

The aluminum housing is about 0.030" too wide and may noy fit easily in some USB sockets. Bought 20 of these for family videos and some people could not fit them into the USB socket on their computer. So I had them very gently bend-in the ears on the USB aluminum housing so they could fit. Suggest the manufacturer check the tolerances for future builds. Otherwise they functioned well.

It has enough memory for small backups and system restore but that is it. Its just too big to fit easily with the other stuff on a USB hub and it is too big to fit in a USB memory storage case. Its OK if you want to use for recovering a laptop and you don't want it to get lost among your other flash drives. Just don't do what I did and get a bunch of them to be used for various purposes. They are hard to write on and you have to add a tag or tape to identify them.
