The Incredible nib ‘‘tis easy to use and draws very well. The angle big end is good for large spreading Pebeo mask. The pointy end for details using cool water. Wash in a separate container AND pour both contents out. Think of these two a containers as contaminated. Use cold water to rinse the Incredible Nib and the two draw rinse waters.

Stop using watercolor brushes when applying masking media as it will ruin your brushes. This product eliminates the need for brushes and applies masking with greater accuracy!

I got tired of the paint markers and paint pens not doing what I wanted, not giving me the colors I wanted, and costing so much! The metallic paint markers/pens have to be shaken over and over, and still the colors may come out watery, or non-metallic. Coverage was never as I expected. When I saw the Incredible Nib, I decided to give it one more try, and I was amazed! I used it with Folk Art Copper Metallic acrylic paint, to put a copper edging on a 1/8" piece, and I used the fine tip of the Nib. I got exactly the color I wanted (and I have dozens more colors I want to try), the coverage was the same as if I'd used a paint brush, without the slips and mishaps, and cleanup was a dream. It took longer to clean than a paint brush because it's hard like a marker (and about the same thickness of a Sharpie tip), but I just set it into a small cup of clean water and swished it occasionally, and the paint all came out. I'm going to get more so I can use different colors without having to wait for the cleaning process. As long as I can find a paint or an ink or a watercolor to provide the color I want, I know that this Nib will give me the fine detailing on the edges of things. I have heard it would also do very well at line drawings, but that isn't one of my skills. I know it gave me a beautiful copper edging to my piece, and I love it.

The Grafix Original Incredible Nib was purchased along with the Colour Shaper Double-End Masking Fluid Tool and the Pro Art Ruling Pen.Comparison of Line Application with Incredible White Mask:• Incredible Nib - this instrument has two working ends, a point and a chisel end. The tool appears to be made of a dowel with shaped ends then cured in some manner. The pointed end picks up an good amount of fluid for line work, it delivers the fluid all at once. Making a thin line was not discovered in the application process. The nib cleaned easily. The chisel end was not compared. (A pencil sharpened chop stick is likely a suitable substitute for the Graffix)• Colour Shaper - the application of Mask transferred an initial bead from its silicone nib then feathered out into a fine short line. It will take a lot of dipping with this too to get medium to long lines done. The silicone end cleans easily. The brush end was not compared.• The Pro Art Ruling Pen has a time tested design for holding fluids in drafting and architecture work. It is designed to hold fluid and make lines. This pen performed very well. The initial bead at the tip of the instrument was smaller than the other two pens. It was able to make long uniform lines.

I dip the tip into masking fluid and use it to block out white areas on my paintings. It works perfectly for this purpose, and cleans easily with a quick rub between two fingers.

im very pleased with this item, I got it mainly to add frisket to my watercolors but as I use it I can see it will come in handy for other projects too. it appears to be made well, though yes, (like someone else mentions) it is just a piece of wood with a plastic handle around it. im happy I purchased this little tool.

A niffy tool that comes in handy for an array of tasks, such as applying masking fluids and otherwatercolor painting techniques. It's a fabulous watercolor tool that will make your craft easier; itmay be used for other mediums, but I haven't arrived there yet.
