Shortbread Highlanders

These delicious treats melts in your mouth, and they are so addicting.

These are the best store cookie. Great taste and few ingredients. However, they are spendy so had to drop from subscription and just order for special :)

These are terrific and since they come wrapped rather than loose in a box, they stay fresh much longer and are easy to take as a snack or a lunch dessert. I've given these to my best friend for her birthday nearly every year for a long time. She loves them.

VERY Freash. The snack size of 2 round cookies helps keeps me from eating them all at one time. I love shortbread cookies like Sandies Pecan, Lorna Doones and Rugala’s. I eat them slowly and am able to take the crunchy creamy butter. I have purchased 3 times and will go back again Give them a try and just enjoy. It’s a great way to start the day.

The shortbread highlanders are good, tho I have to say that they were better quality about a decade ago. Less butter I would say, and perhaps a lower quality wheat flour. The compensation is that the calories per cookie and possibly lower. I liked the packaging, which encourages me to stick with one or two per day, but sadly, most of the cookies so far are broken, mostly in three, four or five small pieces plus crumbs. Hard to imagine how badly they were tossed around during shipping, or maybe they were in an earthquake?

These things are wonderful. Crunchy, rich and just the right amount of sweetness.

Most of the two packs in this box of bisquits arrived broken. Yes I can eat them and they taste great, but they are broken up in many small pieces. Maybe they should be sent with a Fragile sticker on the box.

What can I say? Yummy shortbread in small packets of 2 which means I actually only eat 2 at a time! Great for popping in my lunch box and perfect for taking the edge off any hunger pangs. Probably not the best thing for my waist line but you can't have everything :)

Walkers Shortbreads sind Kekse, die außer Mehl, Butter, Zucker und etwas Salz keine weiteren Inhaltsstoffe haben. Durch die Verpackung mit jeweils 2 Stück bleiben auch größere Vorräte länger frisch und knusprig. Wer Butterkekse mag und gut auf Aromastoffe und Zusätze verzichten kann, der wird dieses Gebäck lieben. Der Preis für die Kekse ist generell recht hoch, wenn es irgendwo ein Sonderangebot gibt, sollte man es nutzen. Der Amazon-Preis ist der übliche Preis, der meistens auch in den Geschäften verlangt wird. Nur bekommt man Walkers oft gar nicht so einfach in Geschäften.

Die Kekse sind immer zu zweit in einem Päckchen verschweißt. Je 28 Päckchen in einem Paket. Die Walker's Shortbread (dicke, runde Butterkekse) sind ausgesprochen lekker und knackig-knusprig. Sicher kann man günstigere Butterkekse bekommen, aber schottisches Shortbread ist eben eine Nummer für sich. Gerne wieder für die nächste schottische Veranstaltung.

Excellent value for a quality product. Kept in my locker for the occasional tea break
