Great BackUp Camera for your Jeep JK
I installed the NATIKA Backup Camera in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK about six months ago, and I’m thrilled with its performance so far! I wanted to wait a bit before writing this review to assess its longevity, and I can confidently say it hasn't failed me once. The image quality is excellent, providing a clear view behind my Jeep, which has made parking and reversing much safer and easier. The installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly with my setup. What I appreciate most is its durability—despite exposure to the elements, it’s held up remarkably well. I feel much more confident backing up now, knowing I have this reliable camera to help. If you're looking for a dependable backup camera for your Jeep Wrangler, I highly recommend the NATIKA Backup Camera. It’s been a fantastic addition!

A good buy!
Great camera setup for a JK Wrangler. Installed this on a 2015 Rubicon with a Kenwood head unit. The actual install was very easy although I did have to shorten the camera bracket by about 1/2" because it was hitting the inside of my factpey Rubicon rim(See pics). Im sure it would work fine on aftermarket wheels. The only other problem I had was that the 720p did not work with my head unit(no fault of the vendor, they state it clearly in the description. I didn't do my research) and the bracket "keepers" were the incorrect size. I contacted the vendor and they were very interested in the specs needed so I assume they will update soon and send out the correct parts on future orders. I don't believe these minor problems were worth deducting stars as this is a very high quality camera otherwise. The picture is good, but no better than the other cameras I have tried. Where this camera excels is that it is a high quality camera constructed of all metal parts. No plastic housing to shatter when installing/removing your spare tire. I can also tilt the camera on the fly if i want to see my hitch better when backing up to a trailer. Also, the connector that connects the main camera harness to the camera pigtail is very low profile. I was able to fish it through all the wire looms to make a very nice looking factory install. Other cameras I have installed still use the standard RCA jack and 1/4" power supply plug making them much more difficult to run inside of factory harnesses for a clean install. All in all, I would purchase this camera again.

Is an OK back up camera
Back up camera is ok not amazing but it works. Clarity is fair. Responds quickly when put in reverse. Works well with my after market Kenwood stereo head. I wish it was more adjustable. It is for a tire mount for jeep but the installer never could find a location that the camera was straight. It is off set so the view is offset and not accurate. I was able to adjust the lines so I can have a range that is ok and it is workable. 4 stars because there is only one place the camera can be adjusted on the tire mount. If it had one more location on the actual mount that could be tweaked to fit on all tire types it would be awesome. And the second reason is camera quality is not clear or vivid like the description picture shows. It is waterproof, we have had a wet summer and so far no issues noticed of leaking. It is small and discrete on the back which is nice.

Dead on arrival
Camera was dead on arrival basically. It work intermittently on day one, but after fully mounting it and running it about 6 months it never worked again. It would only display digital static when putting the jeep in reverse. The mount works fine, which is nice, but that doesn't matter if that camera doesn't work.

Using it as a front looking camera on my JK
This camera is a bit different for aftermarket use. If you plan to use the longer power leads close to the camera, It is apparently intended to be powered with -12v (not +12v). However you can use the short wire at the RCA end for +12v which is what I planned on anyway. The picture is on par with the other similar cameras, although a slightly better color. It has slightly smaller field of view which gets rid of the fish eye effect, but you do see a little less. The camera is all metal and is smaller than Canying for example. The cable is super long. Because by the time I received this camera I already installed the Canying camera, I ended up keeping this one and using it as front camera for my JK. Mounted at the very top of the middle grille opening using the small bracket that came with the camera. I ended up flipping the camera upside down which is possible with the camera design (nice). I had to be the bracket a bit and use it upside down to get the proper in-grille fit. This was easy with a pair of linesman pliers. The camera ended up perfect for that. The field of view is optimal, no fish eye effect. I cut the purple loop to get rid of mirrored image, but I kept the guidelines on as they are pretty much matching with the tires and the red area right at the bumper which also makes sense. However after first use, the camera got cooked from the radiator heat and the image became pretty defused as if there is a clear plastic bag in front of the lens. However, this was not a permanent damage and the camera started working properly once it cooled off. I ended up adding a heat shield which I made out of an old aluminum tray from an old toaster oven. I also added a raspberry PI heatsink to the top of the camera. It is now stays cool enough not to get in trouble. I measured 115F to 120F around the camera after a 20 min heatsoak (time when hit car is turned off in the garage, the time when that area gets exposed to max static heat from the radiator). I believe max operating temp is 180F, so it seems to be ok now. Now I can use this camera and it's guidelines to put the tire where I wanted which is helpful on rocky trails.

Not compatible with Alpine?
Camera mount is sturdy and easy to install. Camera quality in mid at best. Not able to adjust parking guides. Perhaps it’s not really compatible with Alpine.
