I'm very glad to be able to have this book of Psalms and read it throughout the day to give me positive, encouraging peace of mind. It's able to fit in a large back pocket perhaps.

I don’t read Hebrew so it is important the translation be easy to read.

This is a lovely copy of Psalms. I have no issues with the font size, although I'm only having the slightest difficulty focusing on very small/close things, so I can see it being an issue for others. Of course, if the font was larger, the book would be as well; IMO they found a good balance. Even though it's paperback, the cover is tough enough that I carry it in a side pocket of my purse without worrying. It's a great size to carry and I love having it in reach all the time. I'll leave comments on the text to those who are fluent in Hebrew, but as someone who was raised Christian and is still in the process of converting, it's interesting reading something other than the florid King James version. I'm very happy with this, and I think anyone who is happy with this translation will be as well, unless they have significant issues with smaller fonts.

Im not a Jew, but Roman Catholic and tend to collect psalters of all types as I have a particular devotion to the Psalms. This is a very well-made little book and I enjoy looking at it from time to time. Equally useful for Gentiles as much as Jews. The commentary on some psalms is interesting.

the font is gorgeous snd the presentation is great. the hebrew is easy to read for someone who is not yet a whiz and the dual- language format is wonderful. a friend requested i get her one but i ended up ordering one formyself too.

It does what it sets out to do. It is a comprehensive book of Psalms.

Nach einer wiederholten Reise in Israel wurde ich auf dieses Gebetsbuch aufmerksam gemacht. Seither ist es mir ein beliebter Begleiter geworden.Das Buch ist nicht nur äusserlich sehr schön, jede Seite ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Auf der rechten Seite die hebräische Version, auf der linken Seite die in kursiver Schrift gehaltene englische Version. Sehr hilfreich sind auch die Fussnoten, die noch ganz kurze Erklärungen hinzufügen.Sehr empfehlenswert.

I bought this copy of the Hebrew psalms to aid me in my study of Biblical Hebrew, and its ideal - the large clear print is easy to read and fully pointed, plus the english translations opposite are designed to aid in comprehension of the Hebrew text so stick more closely to the word order and meaning of same rather than being poetic. Its also given me a new insight into many familiar psalms and phrases, and the glosses for certain words and concepts at the bottom of the page are fascinating, if sometimes confusing to someone unfamiliar with Jewish teachings. Its a nice edition too, lovely paper and a solid cover, one of my favourite books, all in all. Recommended.
