This mat is not as comfortable to stand on as I thought it would be, but it does what it is supposed to do. It is good for putting your wet and dirty shoes on, as the surfaceof it does help to catch the dirt and water that may be on your outside footwear. Appreciate the fact that the colour is black, as it matches my black futon couch and the dark colour helps to hide stains and dirt.
