10452 Mini Backpack, 13", Navy

I purchased this backpack for my 5 year old daughter for her first trip on an airplane. I wanted something bright in case and easy to pick out just in case we get separated for some reason in the airport. This backpack certainly fits the bill! The orange is easily distinguishable but not obnoxious. Think burnt Clemson orange? It certainly seems durable, the straps are decently padded, and I really like the covers over the zippers, which slide easily. This backpack is a perfect size for my daughter, as it fits her tablet, headphones, a book and doll with ease in the main compartment. I could easily fit more if needed, but this would NOT fit a standard folder for school. The front pocket is deep and will be great for holding her snacks on the flight. Only wish I have is that this backpack would be even more perfect if it had a cup holder on the side. However, as I knew that it didn't have one when I purchased it, that doesn't take away any stars in my book. I would definitely suggest this as an everyday or special occasion backpack for young kids!

I was in need of a new backpack because the delivery person ran off with my old backpack which was hanging in my garage. Sad news there, but the good news is this Everest backpack is on the smaller side which I like for just a few things like my camera, a book and a water bottle. Although it fits around my back I just use it by the handle when I need it. It's a nice red color, the zippers run nicely and it doesn't have a pocket for a water bottle which is what I want. Just the basics works well for me. Good price, made well and good study material. Highly recommended. I like this brand a great deal.

I am that mom who does entirely too much research. I really went above and beyond while looking for the perfect toddler/preschool size backpack for my girls. I wanted something sturdy because let's remember these will be carried/dragged by toddlers. I found several that had great reviews, but I didn't want to pay $25-30 for a toddler backpack (they get nasty, tear, rip or become lost). It was my lucky day and I was able to find these backpacks while they were Prime for less than $7. I was skeptical obviously because of the price, but the reviews were great. I decided to try for myself. BUY THESE. Super sturdy, perfect size to carry a blanket, extra set of clothes, lunch box, preschool papers/folder or whatever your little decides is important enough to go in there. We bought the purple and the aqua color. Amazing colors! I am also having my girl's names put on their bag (and for the price I paid for these I do not mind spending extra on monogramming). Perfect size for 3-5 year olds for sure! Not too big or wide. You could also use as an adult if you needed a diaper bag/hiking bag/etc. So happy with my purchase.

I’m a pocket-size man (5’2”) and finding a backpack that doesn’t look ridiculous on me has been a years long struggle. I just wanted a normal looking backpack that didn’t make me look like a 9 year old on his way to school. This bag fits the bill perfectly — it doesn’t look childish and it doesn’t look like a purse. The material does look a bit cheap (has a little shine to it) but the bag looks solidly built. I’m taking off one star because the zippers, as other reviewers have mentioned, are not great. They’re not terrible, but they feel a bit flimsy and I have a feeling I’ll need to replace them sooner than I’d like. Nevertheless, the bag is fine, and it’s surprisingly roomy. Here’s what I was able to fit in this bag, with room to spare: - 10.5” iPad Pro in protective sleeve - Packable windbreaker - Pouch with cables, chargers, etc. - 20,000 mAh power bank - Glasses case - Moist wipes - Pill box - Chapstick - Tissues - Hand towel - Travel size toothbrush and deodorant - Comb - Hand sanitizer - Bluetooth earbuds And like I said, there’s room to spare. I could easily fit my gloves and hat or my Nintendo Switch in it too. This thing is way roomier than it looks. Do keep in mind though that it’s DEFINITELY a very small bag and if you’re of average height it’ll probably look weird on you, but if you’re short like me it’s the perfect size.

Update 9/2016(two years later): This backpack is still going strong, leaving my designer leather backpack in the dust. Very durable, still a great travel companion, and I recommend it even more now after seeing its longevity. ******* Great little backpack! I originally bought this to use as a purse while traveling, but I wanted to give it a trial run before going on a trip. I haven't switched back to a regular purse since! I'm usually more into feminine/fashionable bags(my everyday bag before this was a Rebecca Minkoff bag) but you just can't beat the practicality of using one of these. Don't have to worry about getting it wet(it's not 100% water proof, but you don't have to worry about the contents getting ruined if it gets a little wet in light rain). It's also way roomier than you'd expect. I carry a checkbook wallet, 32oz water bottle http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PLU912/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, camera, cell phone, tablet, keys, and I still have extra room for a mini umbrella, book, and other random items if needed. The other day my husband even stuck a license plate in there. And the best part is everything feels so light, sometimes I worry that I've forgotten to put something in my bag because it's so comfortable. I guess I'm just used to crossbody bags that start hurting after walking around for a while. The only thing I don't love is the Everest logo, I'm just not a logo person. Thankfully it's pretty small but I do plan to remove it with a seam ripper whenever I get the chance.

LOVE THIS BACKPACK! I’m a college student and this is PERFECT for what I need. 1. it’s cheap as hell. $11?? you really can’t beat that 2. it’s small in appearance but very roomy inside. I can easily fit my MacBook (I believe it’s 12 inches? it’s the smallest size), my iPad Air (11in), a novel, my pencil case, and my wallet in the main compartment. I could fit more in there too if needed!!! The front pouch fits my keys, sunglasses, airpods, lotion, gum, etc. and is also very roomy. 3. It’s all black. I saw many similar bags with different colored hardwear or zippers and I just thought that looked tacky. This is a very plain backpack, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. I attached photos of the bag and even modeled it for reference. I’m 5’3 and this is the perfect size for me! My only gripe is that it definitely isn’t a super sturdy and durable bag, but it’s so cheap that even if I need to replace it next year it’ll be worth it!

It's perfect. It's not to small It's just right. I fit the essentials in there that I need for quick travel trips. Whether it be going to grandma and grandpa's house, the grocery store a day out running errands. It's efficient. I can fit a diaper changing pad, diapers, wipes, 2 outfits, my wallet and lady pouch. Which is nice because now I don't have to carry a purse and a diaper changing pack. I could just put it all in one little backpack. See video.

Got this for light use by my 5 year old. The size is perfect, as he's a small kid, and he loves the aqua color. There's enough room for a water bottle, snacks, a notebook, a toy stuffed animal and whatever little treasures a kindergartner might want to haul around for fun. The straps are densely padded and could be lengthened for an adult to comfortably carry it. It's basic, no frills, no fuss, as expected. He homeschools so this is for our weekly co-op days and anytime he needs to carry things around on his own. He would need something larger and more durable if he was using it heavily 5 days a week, but for our purposes it's great. The negative is that the top seam by the zipper came loose even before we had a chance to use the bag! It's open about 2 inches, with loose stitches on either side, making it about three inches that I'll have to use a needle and thread to repair. :-(
