This World War II style Jeep is a must for any toy car collection.

It reminds me of the Jeep I would drive on errands when I was in Vietnam, stationed very close to the DMZ and the North Vietnam border. Very detailed for a model. I would call this the "Real Jeep", all subsequent Jeeps are a Homage to this "Grandad of the Jeeps!" Today's Jeeps are civilian automobiles that have the Jeep styling. A "True Detroit Automotive Marketing "SNOWJOB"! The true Jeep was smaller and tougher, and served this country not only in Vietnam but Korea, and World War 2 ! It brought back memories of driving across a battlefield or a rough paved road of dirt and gravel, our Air runway strips were covered with metal plates, because the soil in Vietnam is high in sand content where I was stationed! There is no AAA or Joe's Towing Service in the middle of a War!

Bought this for husband. He restores WW2 jeeps. We have 3 in varies stage of being finished. He has this in his garage for inspiration. Good quality material and good details.

the side spotlight light is very loose, and the tires weren't lined up on the rims. The detail of the die-cast body is very good. Hood does not open. Windshield can't be folded down. I'm glad I bought it, but I would only buy another if this one broke. Would be ideal for kid's toy, they expect their toys to break, and it's pretty fragile. Best viewed in a cabinet of collectibles.

This makes my 3rd jeep being used. One for a British mosquito, one for a mustang, and one with my black widow. They all work good in the displays.
