The liquid water softener combined with a sanitizer has completely removed the funk from the clothes, and as it turns out the high mineral content adheres itself to the clothes and prevents the detergent from working. I live with VERY hard n janky, mineralized Well water. This stuff really works. Makes my wash very soft n more colorful. I love this additive.
