Good for the bedside, not much else (not even airsoft).
I have this mounted to AB ARMS handguard which accepts magpul accessories. It fits decently but the tabs are flimsy and lack that solid CLICK I was expecting when installing. I use it to mount a Solarforce pressure switch (fits a little snug in the larger bracket provided). Works well enough, I'm sure Surefire accessories would fit better. I would've given it 4-5 stars until I broke it tonight. I had it leaning against the wall within reach of my computer chair when my 6 month old kitty decided she wanted to rub her face all over the pistol grip (awwwww). She managed to nudge it over and the rifle tipped over and slid about 45 degrees on its pivot point (the stock on the ground) until its fall was broken by the wooden armrest of a chair. This caused the top half of the bracket to break clean through. Keep in mind it did not fall the full 90 degrees to the floor and the muzzle was dragging on the wall, so its descent was moderately slowed. I'm not even 100 percent sure the bracket itself impacted the chair, its orientation should've caused the top of the handguard to make contact (i tried to recreate the fall). The rails I've never used, I don't even remember if they are metal or plastic (I think their made out of the same polymer that their BUIS sights are made of).In conclusion, the pressure switch mounting brackets work fine for a bedside home defense rifle. It holds even off brand switches reliably enough that I trust relying on it for my home defense rifle. However, if you plan on using this for anything more than that (low light training courses, airsoft, anything dynamic where your rifle might get bumped a little on solid surfaces such as walls or anything besides carpeted floors), I would not expect this to hold up in the slightest. I was a little disappointed, I was expecting BUIS durability, but the surfaces on the brackets are thin and brittle. I will be buying another set to replace this one, as I said it suits my purposes just fine. But if I ever decide to take any sort of dynamic training courses, I will be looking for alternative mounting methods.

Cantilver Mount for TLR-1
I essentially bought this entire set for the cantilever mount. I run Magpul MOE Carbine Length Handguards and purchased this to get the right position and angle for mounting my TLR-1. I have had great success with all of my Magpul products and this is no exception. The cantilever mount installs easily and is completely snug and secure. Feels rock solid and is engineered to look like it belongs. The 1913 picatinny rail will mount just about any illumination accessory on the market. I mounted my Streamlight TLR-1 and am very pleased with the location and angle. Gets the light forward and out from the front irons so as not to mess with your sight picture.I would give the entire product 5 stars if the cantilever mount was available by itself. As it is I have an additional small rail section and two switch mounts I have no use for. Note that these switch mounts are designed for Surefire products. The Streamlight tape switch will fit the generic mount but if you are choosing the long gun or shotgun (coiled) remote switch they will NOT fit. I chose the coiled switch for my AR because I hate loose, dangling wires. The remaining accessories i have here seem cool and all... just kinda useless.

Magpul MOE Illumination Kit.
I personally like being able to immediately turn weapons lights on and off. As easy as it sounds some people have trouble learning it. Some become more occupied with the pressure switch than observing for foes. That could cause problems in a hurry. Me, on the other hand prefer this set up over click on and click off flashlight or tail caps that require constant pressure as it's slower and forces (I think) into an uncomfortable position. Using the MOE Illumination kit allows better control of your weapon at all times. I recommend when you install it that you check the size of the pressure switch of your light with the available space in the housing/frame of the kit. Usually you have to trim the very end of the switch to fit. If you try to force it you can break the tabs off of the housing that snaps into the forearm/handguards as I had done on my first installation on a weapon. Some filing may be required for an absolute best fit for the switch and or wire but it is well worth it. I recommend using large pieces of velcro or even a tourniquet for keeping the access switch wire from dangling and getting caught on brush, barriers, etc. Velcro in the field and a tourniquet can come it handy, when you least expect it.

Not a bad kit but...
I bought this kit to mount the pressure switch for a streamlight protac rail mount light. Quality seems to be good, my problem is the pressure switch mount does not fit. It looks like they are made for the surefire switches. My fault I didn't do more research on it. As far as the M-lok pic rail sections go, typical Magpul quality and I don't have any issues. If you have a surefire brand light, this kit may work well for you, if you have the Streamlight Protac, it probably won't work for you as far as the switch mounts go.
