LE LEMATEC Air Compressor Water Separator, 1/4" NPT Inline Filter

This is a great little filter/dryer! I purchased this air dryer for use with an old 3-gallon horizontal air compressor that a friend gifted to me, and which I use for low-flow applications. Rather than installing the dryer right at the tool, where if would increase the overall size of the tool and could be snagged, or be subject to the weight of the hose, I installed it at the compressor outlet quick coupler, where it is out of the way and not subject to excessive pulling. When I'm done with the task I simply rotate the dryer around so that the drain button is at the low end and press the button to expel the condensate. Quick, easy, totally effective, and great value.

I started the install but realized there is a directional arrow for flow. There is a female and male end. If I follow the arrow, I cannot install because my systems male and female are reversed. UPDATE: Got adaptors on Amazon, item seems to function as intended.

Works but for some reason I can’t get more then 30psi from it does anybody know why?I have a 100psi coming from air line

Leak at point between air release button and body of unit. Both ordered at different times. First one appears to be great, installed with ease, no leaks and does a good job eliminating moisture. Second unit leaks to the point that it is unusable. Unfortunately the bad unit sat on my desk for too long, and wasn't returnable. I hope the company makes it right. Only 50% worked. Not satisfactory at all. UPDATE - I was contacted by the seller who will replace the defective unit. Changed from 2 stars to 4 stars due to sellers response. After install will update review if necessary. Exemplary Customer Service. The company was quick to make things right. Cannot say enough for them. Used on two compressors. Both units in a 1800 sq ft shop, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Both work just fine. If your looking to keep your airtools and plasma cutter running smooth, keep your air clean. These do the job Thank You

works great and was easy to install. The filter has reduced the amount of condensation in my air take and seems to be well built with no issues.

Works great a clearing the water out of the air line

Slowed air flow down for my paint gun, had a hard time keeping up higher working pressure. Paint was clean so I think the filter worked fine, but I never had a drop of water out of the drain to know if it was catching any moisture. I would buy a better quality one next time though.

I always use upstream oil-water filters but nonetheless I believe this did an awesome job on any that might have formed in the line as I did three panels in Texas humidity and no water issues

Installed one of these and it definitely traps moisture, drained the compressor and used this as defence Works
