Motive Gear 75050 7.5" Spacer Ring (GM)

Bolted up perfect. Honestly I did not have the money for the pinion depth and backlash tool so I had to wing it with parts and use factory shim and bought this ring gear shim and match perfectly along with the break in. No vibration no overheating everything worked perfectly great product

Bought to fit a thin ring gear (thin 3.08) on a thick gear carrier and it did not allow the ring to fit on the centering surface of carrier so it was relying on just the bolts to hold the ring gear perfectly centered with the rotating carrier.(Wish it was like the hub centric wheel spacers to hold the gear.)

Used this in a 7.5 gm with 3.73s ordered thin gears when I had a series 2 carrier (2.53-3.08) so I bought this to space out the gear, not the best way to do it bought I already had the gears and didn’t feel like buying another set, with this spacer my ring gear barley sit on the hub of the carrier so it was mostly relying on the bolts to stop from sliding side to side, but I have been beating on it for 2 years now first 6 months with a 355, 1.5 years with a stock 305 doing burnouts and extreme donuts till tires were melted off and now the 355 was rebuilt back in the car and still sending it! WillUpdate if it ever breaks but I doubt it will be the spacer that breaks and probably the bolts or pinion since all the load is put on them now. Or my stock 26 spline axles lol UPDATE: blew a hole through my differential cover yesterday , sheared all the bolts off the carrier just backing up fast and hitting the brakes , the bolts take all the load and shock, will be buying another one and sending it again lol wish me luck
