Loved this book. A book by a successful small town retailer. Retail is not dead, you just need to change with the times. Know your customer! Thanks Doug! I do think people need to give local officials a break. Not supporting a business because you didn't like the decision a public official made? Do you honestly think local officials don't have citizens best interest in mind? This trickle down hate needs to stop.

This book is a fast read and has useful information. As a fellow GM dealer, I appreciated his thoughts on auto dealerships, community involvement and employee relations. However, the book is written for any small business owner. It is especially helpful for businesses in smaller communities.
