Do not use this product!
This product actually caused sores on my dog's so I stopped using it immediately. I followed the directions and used it accordingly for abouta week. It was supposed to help with their skin condition, but it caused red sores to develop everywhere. I didn't know how to send it back for the money back guarantee so I lost a $100. Please do not subject your animal's to this product.

May be too early to review...
We have a German Shepherd who has suffered all his life from allergens. He licks, bites, and scratches himself to the point of bloody open sores. We've spent A LOT of money over the past seven years, trying to bring him relief through expensive dog foods, antihistamines, miscellaneous skin products and vet-prescribed shampoos and are desperately hoping Jax and Daisy will be his answer. We have only had the product about 10 days and have given him at least 4 baths so far. We like how this product lathers, how he smells after he dries, and how soft his fur feels; but unfortunately, he is still itching and scratching. I know it takes some time for his ph system to adjust, so we'll see what happens when the gallon is gone. One concern I have is the is the Chlorhexidine listed in the ingredients, as his former Rx shampoos have also contained that antiseptic and I'm beginning to think that's a trigger. If after the gallon is gone and the itching stops; I'll revise the rating to 5 stars.

Not for allergies...
I was hoping to use this shampoo as an alternative to my dogs allergy medicine called apoquel. I stopped her med and started bathing her with this. She just got worst and worst until I gave up and put her back on the meds. Her ears started to bleed from her excessive scratching. There is lotion you can buy with it that helps with the itching. I didn't buy the lotion. Maybe that's why it didn't work. All her fur was coming off. It's like she is allergic to her own skin and this shampoo did not help that.

Good
This has saved my dogs butt! He was losing hair. Its growing back now. After 2 weeks of 2 baths a week...weekly is enough. Smells good..not potent.

Great product on my pekingese's super sensitive skin
My Pekingese has always had a tendency to get skin issues like dryness and itching . A neighbor recommended this as having worked wonders on her shitzu. I bought the gallon because it was the best deal . I am very happy with my purchase . I leave it on him for about 3 min (lathering it in) and then rinse .

I think you can over wash which seems to make the dogs skin dry but as long a we give 1 to 2 baths a week this shampoo has really cut down on the bad smell, yeast
We tried everything - this is the only treatment that has made a difference. I think you can over wash which seems to make the dogs skin dry but as long a we give 1 to 2 baths a week this shampoo has really cut down on the bad smell, yeast, and hot spots.
