Not a USB Gen 2 device
I was very disappointed in this hdd. It advertises 10gb/sec. It doesn't deliver. It just doesn't reach the speed it says it will. In fact, I did some benchmarking, and it barely reached USB 2 speeds. A failed project. If the speed is what you are looking for, don't get this one. I returned mine as soon as I tested it and found it to be lacking.
