Calming Chews

I have a rescue dog who is living with arthritis and has all the aches and pains you'd expect from a very old little guy who spent goodness knows how long out on his own. Because of his history, he panics easily, and looks like he's shaking out of his skin.I decided to try this, in the hope it would make our dog's life a little better. He already gets a multi-vitamin and glucosamine/chondroitin, so I figured another "treat" after supper would be an easy way to try. Giving it to his was less than no problem, and he tried to "dance" for a second treat after inhaling the first one.Happily, the stuff is helping him. He's moving more easily, "dancing" without trouble, and can leap onto the sofa with on the first jump! He's a very small dog, about 15 lbs., and of dubious parentage. He is also a little less uncomfortable in formerly frightening situations. Thunder and lightning doesn't even wake him, and hearing crickets on TV doesn't set off a storm of barking and a little dog hiding behind my legs or under a recliner. He lets us pet him without flinching first, which is a huge thing for us, as we've had him six years and was afraid of a hand moving toward him all this time.Even though I call this miraculous, there are some limits to its magic: little guy is still afraid of car rides, freaks out completely when he gets a harness instead of a collar, or if I put down fresh water while he eats. He never does anything dangerous, just jumps and cries. I had hoped that the car rides would get better, but I am thrilled with the progress he has made.I was asked by a relative if I was getting him high on the hemp chews, and I have to say that I truly don't know. If he is high, it's pretty darned subtle. He doesn't show increased appetite or any of the other stereotypical behaviors of one under the influence of Marijuana. But my position is that if it gives him a mild high so what? He's an elderly dog who has been through a lot, and is strongly feeling the pain of old age. If being a little high is a side effect of this medicines it doesn't matter. No one is asking him to do Calculus, after all.

I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend. Works great for my 90lb German Shepard who is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. Will be ordering again!

She apparently doesn’t like the taste, so I have to mash it up into her food…then seems to have the desired effect.

Didn't work with our dog. Sorry to say. Tried one for few times then two, nothing .

Work great when you know there's a storm coming to keep your pup calm works when fireworks are going off as well. Must be given in enough time to kick in.

These chews have changed my dog’s (and mine by extension) life. Like… OMG!My girl is scared of everything, with no exaggeration; thunder, loud voices and noise, etc… I bought these chews to see if they would help and YES they do!I don't know if the effects will be different for another dog but Italy is able to take naps during a thunderstorm without freaking out, she doesn’t hide under the tables or beds if you drop something and it makes a loud noise.She’s just chill and relaxed! I have bought this exact product many times over the last 4 years. I never had an issue in the past. The treats are usually soft, a bit on the mushy side, and don't have a bad smell. This time, I bought this product from ANIMALE XPERTS. First time buying from them. The dog treats were very bad quality. They smelled awful, had a very dry texture, crumbly, and looked old. I did not give my dogs these treats.

Kira is my 4 year old husky. She deals with anxiety from the ac unit (lol I know, right!?) Everytime that bad boy kicks on she high tails (🤣) it right outta the living room and into my room where she feels safest. I give her 2 treats per the dosage recommendation and as you can see she's laying in my living room unperturbed. These are great and she loves the taste. Will definitely order more again. I haven't noticed any change in her behavior or any odd side effects. She did have loose stools the first time she ate the treats. That's to be expected when introducing something new to the diet. She is good now. Normal stools. Great behavior as always 😁👍 I'd like to think we're both very satisfied with this product!
