I was worried that this pad wouldn’t be large enough for the Mavic 3. I was really hoping it would work because when folded up it fits in the bag that came with the Mavic 3. The next larger size would not fit. On my first two flights, the drone did not land on the landing pad. After reading more about precision landing, I learned it was a user error. It is important to allow the drone to update the home point after takeoff, but then also fly above 7 meters and hover there a few seconds for it to update again. The drone remembers this image for landing. It helps to choose whichever color is a greater contrast the the surface it sits on. For example, orange is better than blue on a gray stone. You should also be connected to more than 12 satellites before takeoff.After I learned to hover above 7 meters briefly, the drone lands on the pad every time. You can see in the attached photo how the Mavic 3 hit the pad on landing and fits within the circle. I’m glad I chose this size.I haven’t had to use the stakes in windy conditions yet, but they look useful. I’ve only had this a few weeks, but it looks like it will be durable.

I fly a dji mini2 and a lot of the places I fly from are sandy or dirty. The landing pad gives me a clean spot to takeoff from and it is large enough to easily land on. My drone is small enough so that the prop wash does not blow the pad around but there are holes in the corners for steaks to hold it down if you have a larger drone with a bigger prop wash. It folds up easily and fits onto the provided pouch. It is easy to take with me everywhere I go to fly.

Works great. When in auto land the drone can easily identify the landing surface. When I was landing on the grass I was having to force landing way too after. The landing pad is durable and will reduce dust in the air flow ports.I recommend getting some durable metal stakes to hold the corners down. The plastic ones that come with it are ok for dirt/soil but they don’t work so well in Texas rocky soil. If you fly a drone I recommend getting this landing pad

I was very pleasantly surprised with the build quality of the Landing Pad. Very sturdy and lays perfectly flat. The corner stakes are well built as well. Really a great value.

I found with the mini drone that the props are to close to the ground and hit grass blades. This solved the problem. The bag is nice but I haven't used the stakes yet.

I've tried a couple of other pop-out pads that are quite light, but this is heaver weight and sits well on the ground. Comes with pegs, but havn't needed to use them, the weight of the pad alone is enough.
