Q: The height on one side is 7/16". What is the height on the other side?

I have used these several times. The “thicker” edge snaps into the outer edge of an aluminum in swing threshold. This edge is close to 5/8” , the specification uses .6”. The curved or finish edge is about 7/16”. You must provide support under this extender. If will not support any weight if not supported from below.

Q: What can I use to cut? My threshold is 32" instead of 36".

You can use a hack saw or sawzall. Any metal cutting tool will work fine

Q: Does this fit therma tru doors?

If you are talking about a sliding door, no. It fits any door that does not have a prebuilt threshold

Q: Will this fit “feather river” brand door?

The extensions are standardized....yes, all brands fit
