If there is a problem, communication is impressive! Our problem was due to the ice storm in Michigan. Company was quick to respond and react in a positive manner, did not try to blame weather, USPS, etc. Very pleased with this company and their product. Yes, the filter is a bit too long. It's easy to cut. I'd rather have it too long than too short! This was my second order It will not my last. Thank you for great service!

After using once, I am buying another and recommend.The embedded metal is an upgrade from oem. And other oversized which is a plus in my world since the OEM was a bit short of making a circle when it saggedOn 2nd fan speed 24/7 it easily adds 4 gallons a day. All I know for sure is it adds more moisture than the original. Again, the open gap was hindering the purpose. I do flip it weekly when I rinse the tray. It gets a bit brown towards top from pellet stove dust, cig, dog, whatever is in air and water. No mold issue here in winter as 42% is about max humidity achieved.I don't waste money on distilled water... like I'm going to buy 90 gallons of water to preserve a $15 filter?? It's not a very good humidifier design, and most are not. So either get over it or get a better device that uses better media than pulp.As a side note, Amazon updated my repurchase to a different one. This was taken as them trying to grab another 5 bucks-greed!
