Great book for beginners.

My child needed this book for piano lessons so I bought it on Amazon and it is very convenient since it shipped over night. There isn't much else to say about a piano lesson book. :)

Alfred is becoming my go-to for both new and more advanced students. The books fit together well, the theory is understandable and fun, my kids are playing actual music much more quickly. It also leaves me more room for selecting other music that fits each student.

Not a fan of the Alfred's empire in general, but these note spellers are very useful for students of all ages who are just beginning to read the grand staff. I like the fact that intervals are emphasized in addition to note names.

Awesome book for the absolute beginner. Easy to follow. Loaded with useful fundamental skills. I've been learning along with my granddaughter, but she's a little better than me!

Great support book to lesson and theory book. I thought it may be too much, but skills are taught in a new way (not as challenging as theory, so wonderful for younger students). Will buy notespellers for each level as we work through the alfred basic series.
