AA 4T 4 m Heavy-Duty Tow Rope AA6226 – Yellow Strap-Style Towing Belt for Car Breakdowns Other Vehicles up to 4 Tonnes

I bought this AA heavy duty tow pole as I hate using rope. When it arrived I was surprised by its weight. On opening the box, I saw that the storage bag it came in had a hole at one end so was worried that small parts might have escaped, however the parts are all secured with chains to the poles themselves. On putting it together for a practise, I found that the retaining pins to be very light and made of too thin a metal and I do not have faith in them actually staying in. I will be buying thicker ones independently as these look like they could fall out. The holes they go into are much larger than the pin so will accept a heavier version. The poles are bright red and are easy to put together. The 'On Tow' flag in the middle of the pole is a nice little touch.Coincidentally, on 14/01 I needed to tow my son’s car off a dual carriageway after the clutch failed. On setting about putting together the pole, I found it difficult to apply the whole pole to the towing eyes with it ready made. I had to separate the three parts, then attached each towing eye individually to each car then attach the middle section with a small amount of manoeuvring. Once built up it looked good. I instructed my 19yr old about the technique he would be experiencing which included the sound of the knocking metal. I shook the bar to simulate the noise to stop him worrying. At this point I realised that an improvement could be made by adding a hard rubber grommet that could be slid over the hook after attachment that would quieten the sound dramaticallyI will be going to a DIY shop looking for an ideal part. Once underway the towing was easy and well controlled. At times I had to slow or pull away from junctions, where the towing eyes banged against the towing hooks and made a horrific banging sound, I had to keep checking that he was still there.Once home, the towing bar was undamaged.I was going to buy one of the cheaper bars off EBay but I am glad I chose this one. It comes in a bright red bag that will sit in any boot, and as it only cost me £21:78. I have already saved over 3-4 times its value over hiring a breakdown vehicle to take the car home. I would highly recommend this bar

L'ho acquistato perchè dovevo trainare la mia Panda 1,2 (2 Serie Kg 860) dal mio Box seminterrato sino dal meccanico 700 mt . Aggancio semplice e sicuro e senza eccessivi strappi ( solo minimi ma ci stanno per i traini) Precedentemente con una fune d'acciaio e stato un delirio di strattoni violenti

Hatte es vor Monaten gekauft, weil ich dachte man sollte schon ein Abschleppseil im Auto haben. Gestern habe ich es tasächlich das erst mal gebraucht um ein Kombi 30 km abzuschleppen. Super einfach in der Handhabung und super stark !!! Außerdem kann man es wieder praktisch in der durchsichtigen Tasche verstauen. Volle Kaufempfehlung.

La spedizione è stata puntuale come sempre grazie ad Amazon Prime...un giorno ed era a casa.Ho testato subito la corda per necessità personali...Resistente, maneggevole..ma soprattutto sicura coi ganci finali agli estremi della corda..!Ho trainato una W.Polo con la mia S.Fabia per un tragitto di 18km su strada asfaltata e di campagna con un ottimo risultato in sicurezza e stabilità e potenza dei ganci..La consiglio vivamente a tutti..!Ottimo acquisto...anche se spero di non farne più uso...😅😅

Eines der Dinge, die man kauft, um sie hoffentlich nie nutzen zu müssen. Aber wenn, dann sollte das Abschleppseil doch auch farblich passend zu unserem Oldie-Bulli sein .... Das Seil macht einen hochwertig verarbeiteten und soliden Eindruck, die Karabiner scheinen ebenfalls stabil und gut bedienbar zu sein. Die Tasche ist praktisch und lässt sich gut verstauen.
