This is the only comprehensive book in the market for engineers that covers the design of CMOS and bipolar analog integrated circuits. The fifth edition retains its completeness and updates the coverage of bipolar and CMOS circuits. A thorough analysis of a new low-voltage bipolar operational amplifier has been added to Chapters 6, 7, 9, and 11. Chapter 12 has been updated to include a fully differential folded cascode operational amplifier example. With its streamlined and up-to-date coverage, more engineers will turn to this resource to explore key concepts in the field. Review: Really good - This is a really good, fundamentals based text on analog circuit design. Its pretty much mandatory "second level" (after _Art Of Electronics_) reading. The book is useful for anyone doing analog circuit design, even if you aren't designing custom ICs. (Most of the topics it discusses are useful for integrated or discrete design) It develops analog design from the fundamental working principals of transistors, discussing the fundamental building blocks used in most analog circuits. The book is very math heavy but doesn't require a deep understanding of physics. It doesn't have as many fully worked circuit examples as I would like to see. I would highly recommend this book for anyone studying or learning analog electronics. Review: Great for AIC designer - 2nd best book behind Razavi for AIC

A bible textbook of AIC design
It is a bible textbook of AIC design. It is suggested students and engineers involved in AIC design should overall read this book.

a good book
this is a good book. although it looks like a little old, but the characters and graphs are very clearly shown.

Great
All new. Unused book. A great deal with favorable rice. The content of the book is great too. As a required text book, recommand it.

Should I say?
It is a Bible for circuit designers. No part of this book is useless. I have to read it 10 times.

Can get better books in the market for beginners
As a beginner in Analog Design, I preferred a book more practical with not just equations and theoretical concepts. Baker proved to be more insightful. Had to return this book since it did not serve its purpose.

In case you're wondering: the paper and print quality are (very) good too
I won't waste your time with a review of the contents of what is believe to be one of the most respected bibles of analog electronic IC design. But if you, like me, worry about the paper and print quality of the international editions, know that this "International Student Edition" (with the blackish cover, depicting green PCB traces, the thin crimson bands at the top and bottom and "of" and "5e" in yellow pads) is a high quality paperback. The paper is high quality, there is no see-through, the print is crisp and clear, the text is perfectly aligned and the binding is tight. Also the ink does not stink like it might happen with some Indian editions (usually those with a red cover). This is a high quality paperback - or at least it was the one I received from Momox-Medimops. As far as the content goes, well, I studied on the second edition and bought this one to keep up with the 'latest' developments. The soul of the book is still the same, with all building blocks used in analog integrated circuits described in reasonable detail. In the second edition you could almost feel the ghost of Bob Widlar lurching over your shoulders. This fifth edition has added many new topics, most notably an equally deep treatment of BJT and MOS technologies, low-power and rail-to-rail op amps (the 741 has been abandoned in favour of the more recent NE5234) and a bit more SPICE added in. There's a sixth edition due in December 2019, but if you find this international edition at a low price, well, know that it's not a stinky, misaligned, almost transparent yellowish paper printed book. It's a nicely built paperback edition. And it's THE Gray Meyer.
