If you are in ICU or Cardiology highly recommend. Excellent for both MD and NP/ PAs.

This is a review of the 2nd edition --- make sure you purchase this 2nd edition and not the 1st edition. The content and organization are quite good. (This is in contrast to the first edition which was simply the cards chapter from Pocket Medicine.) The book covers all of the bread and butter cardiology topics that you commonly encounter on a med student cardiology consult service rotation. It is uses the same general style that is used in the other Pocket Medicine guides. My only issue (and thus the 4 starts) is that index is terrible and it can sometimes be difficult to find information quickly. Nevertheless, a huge improvement over the first edition.

I bought this book less than 1 month ago and haven’t used much. Although the content is great, the spine/cover of the pocket book is separating/ripping!! Soon the entire spine will rip off and the way the page size is/number of holes, I’m not sure if I can purchase another generic replacement binder. Otherwise satisfied with the content.
