much better than the light clips made/used 2-3 years ago. suggest using a gauge above (thinner) to insure wires insulation gets pierced properly to lock correctly.

it's easy to push the copper lands of the light-strip past the "teeth" of the connector. no biggy. Just be careful. However, the images include a photo of the connector being used to connect wiring to the light strip. and this may be theoretically possible but practically impossible. There is nothing to keep the wiring aligned with the pins as you close the gates. And you have to keep three wires aligned. Good luck. This purchase was to make connections more reliable for high-school students that need to do this frequently. Soldering is still easier and better.

It's been said that the product doesn't fit in aluminum channel. This product fit my aluminum v channel. Rather tight. But, I was still able to get the diffuser on with no issues. So Super Easy to install. I have used 4 out of 20. All 4 worked flawlessly. Didn't scap a single one. UPDATE: used 10 of 20. Works as intended. No issues.

These connectors came closed making it a pain to open the connector to insert the wires. It is almost faster to strip and solder wire than to open both ends and insert the wires. Connections to both the LED strips and wire are not all that reliable. Tugging on the wire or led strip made connectiopns intermittent.

I needed to solder 30 LED segments together for a project, which I was not looking forward to. These turned out to be a great alternative. There are wire guides that fit 22 guage wire perfectly (without stripping) and hold everything in place. On the other side are pins that pop through the copper LED pads to great a secure connection while preventing the LED from moving. If you make a mistake, these are easy to open, too. I just wish they were a little smaller (a need for my project) and more came in a pack. I have had to buy 3 packs. All in all, these should hold up as long as solder would with no fumes and no costly mistakes (like removal of copper pads, which can happen when soldering LEDs)

I got these for a project where I was mounting LED strips under a cabinet. With these you put the wires in one end and clamp down, and then put the cut LED strip end in the other and clamp down. That's it! No soldering - it's super easy. Highly recommended for LED strip projects!
