Piano Sonates

As a prefatory matter, why there are only four stars - one of the disc was defective (it gets stuck at one place and does not go forward). Was too late to complain. As for the music, I like the interpretation. A lot. I have another full set of sonatas, by Maria João Pires (in her excellent complete solo recordings box). I enjoy Pires, but prefer Uchida. Less romantic, more crisp. Will be exploring other versions.

Mozart: The Piano Sonatas performed by Mitsuko Uchida are superb no surprise for this accomplished and sensitive pianist. I have listened to it while working at home as background as well as enjoying in the car and falling asleep to...good memories of piano lessons ...recommended

Uchida plays Mozarts piano sonatas, she gives an absolutely brilliant performance. Highly recommended.

Mozart: The Piano Sonatas performed by Mitsuko Uchida has been in my collection for a number of years now. I have listened to it while working at home as background and my son in particular has found it helps him greatly in the creation of fantastic sandwiches, particularly Piano Sonata No.10 in C major.I have bought this album for a number of my friends who equally enjoy the way the performances' are played.Anyway, side issue dismissed it gets 5*'s from me.Signed: A Listener of Classics.

I have several versions of Mozart Piano Sonatas by various artists. Uchida gives good interpretations and phrasing of these sonatas. Enjoy the pleasure of listening to these 5 discs over and over again. A good buy.
