Mr Perrin and Mr Traill (Capuchin Classics)

I tried to like this but it seems just like a paper exercise: vapid characters, plodding prose, and predictable plot. He did get knighted - Walpole - presumably not on the “strength” of this.

A great book about how toxic work environments affect people. Really takes you into the world of the minor English public school.
