How to Pack: Travel Smart for Any Trip (How To Series) Review: Best book ever on “how to pack”!!! - This was the absolute BEST book I’ve ever read on how to pack. First, the cover is adorable!!! The contents are compact and to the point. The information in the book cov red everything I ever needed to know about packing, plus a few extra tip for traveling with ease. I wish I had found this book sooner. For anyone who stresses about how to pack, this is the perfect go-to guide. I highly recommend this book!!! With that said, this is one instance when I would recommend the hardback book instead of the kindle version, because it’s organized beautifully and small enough to fit in a suitcase. The back of the hardback version also contains packing list forms that you can fill out. Love it!!!!!!!! Review: Where have you been all my life? - I travel a lot and one would think that I would have mastered the art of packing. I came upon this books and Hitha's blog after doing some google searching to come up with some better ways of packing. This book is so great. Simple, easy to follow. The places for lists and the sample packing lists with mix and match outfit ideas, really help to distill the mystery of how this actually works and what you really need for various kinds of trips. It's practical and highly recommended for those that travel for business and pleasure. I used many of the ideas for 5 weeks in 5 African countries and I was able to live out of one suitcase. Packing Cubes!! Thanks Hitha!

Good for business women who travel a lot
This cute little book is appealing to pick up - itself looking like a fancy piece of luggage with the title in the luggage tag. It opens up, following the same theme with a box saying 'in case of loss, please return to....' as you would have in luggage also. As a seasoned traveller for many years, I was intrigued as to what she would say. My type of travel was not business like hers however. She starts off with finding your packing personality - which, to be honest, I found a bit lame and like it was just a filler for the book. A lot of the book, to me, felt like filler - but then again a whole book on how to pack for some trips is a stretch. The Packing Timeline is fairly useful to help people feel organized over a period of seven days before leaving. She talks about the types of clothing you need and what to consider and planning outfits ahead. She provides removable packing lists at the back of the book. The whole book seems a light touch on the whole topic - but would be helpful for someone who travelled a lot for business as she did. Hitha mentioned at one point she was traveling three weeks of every month. Her tips are definitely helpful in this context. For me, not a lot of it was new. I hadn't heard about the TSA thing she mentioned where people can skip the security lines before boarding. Also the option of ordering a vegetarian meal/vegan is a good idea as it's healthier and you get served first - something else I'll take away from the book. Aside from those two things, for me at least, there wasn't much else that was overly new. Much of my travel has been 12 hour plus flights so the idea of the inflight spa type stuff - where she talks about beauty lotions and hydrating skin care for in flight as a treat, is something I've done for years. On the whole - would I recommend it? I would only recommend it if you are new to travel and are female and have to travel a lot for business. This would be great for that particular niche. For others, you may get tidbits from it. It does discuss the value of different types of carry-on cases etc so there is lots of basic stuff that would be good for newbies. Please note that I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my review, however the opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Love this book!!
I LOVE this book!! Got it as a gift 3 years ago and it has really been helpful. I love to travel light but this book has really helped me streamline the amount of clothes I now pack on a trip. It has sections for pretty much every type and weather of trip you’ll go on. I bought 2 as gifts and both people love it too! Highly recommended!!

Darling cover and good advice
Honestly, I bought the book for the cover, which is so cute. But I did get good tips inside, and I'm just an occasional traveler. I've put at least 3 into practice so far. Probably even better for the frequent-flying-businessperson as there are lists for location and days spent. Worth it!

I was supposed to receive it waaaay before leaving on a trip. Received it at home while I was on that trip. So, you know, it didn't serve me well. But I still read it when I got back and the tips are good. Hope I will be able to use it next time I travel !
