Auto biography of a religious fanatic with no critical thinking, just throwing yourself down in prostrations chanting om mani padme hum or 'Namyo Ho Renge Ko'. Been a serious Buddhist practitioner for 50 years and stories like this are the reason it will take the transformation of Buddhism happening in the West to bring it into modern times and purge it from the baroque paranormal baggage it was brought here with.

Fantastic. You turn page after page, getting deeper into the question (what's behind our normal ways of seeying?). It's a riveting, incredible story and a yet so human. Almost normal. That's the magic of the book. Touches you lightly, but deeply. Great read. Looking forward to his next.
