Silver 100 New 7G in Black Gloss (Pair)

Omg, so clean sounds. Almost better than my main system…almost.

I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm still listening and will follow up. I had many other bookshelf options to choose from so why did I select these? The 8" driver and frequency range and the fact that reviewers were impressed by the midrange without this having a dedicated midrange driver. I heard a song with a heavy bass line and I felt like the bass player was in my room with me. The soundstage is very wide, just a lot bigger than any narrow and small bookshelf typical speaker. The vocals are really good and when I A/B'd compared to my ELAC Solano the voices were much improved. You wouldn't think an 8" could do that but I think it's the material and the crossover and the tweeter as well. I'll keep listening as they just arrived and I want to hear more types of music on them. BTW I did plug the ports (came with the speakers) because mine have to go against the wall. That solved the bass magnification problem and it got tighter and more under control.

These speakers pack a punch for both music and home theatre. I currently have these in my 11.2 Atmos setup and they continue to impress me. I also bought the bronze set, but ended up returning and these silvers stand high above the bronze series. Pricey yea, but I've purchased more expensive speakers that although good, can't match this pair. Always stop me on my tacks and makes the listening experience fun

I got these open box so I got a good deal. Do I think they are worth $1500? Absolutely! Very clean not bloated , just very nice speakers!
