Turned milky white
Ok for first two weeks. I sanded and applied per instructions in an indoor stairwell. After about two weeks we suddenly noticed huge while spots all over our newly painted hardwood. At first we thought it was just dirt, but nope- apparently moisture somehow had caused this. Again, inside steps in a climate controlled environment. After lots of research found out that nail polish remover would loosen top layer and let moisture escape. This did work to an extent, but there is still a slight milky sheen on steps. Very upset after the amount of time/money spent on these.

great product! Very easy to apply
From what I can tell so far, great product! Very easy to apply, super convenient to be able to re-coat after 2 hours, and the semi gloss was just the right finish I wanted for our floors.A few notes.. we way over ordered. We were able to do 3 coats on our roughly 450sqft of floor with BARELY over a gallon. So it goes further than it says.We used a synthetic foam pad on a pole to apply. Just dumped a small puddle and spread with the grain, slightly overlapping the pass before. If I could change one thing, I'd go back and lightly sand after the first coat.. because as I read could happen, the water based did raise the grain of our old oak floors, but we just didn't take the extra time to do that step.. it's not terrible but didn't give us the super sleek/smooth finish most would prefer. It's been about a month, and the floors are holding up great so far with just 3 coats.. would have went ahead and done the 4th if we weren't selling the house soon. All in all, would definitely recommend this product and will use again in the future!

Worst decision I made for the entire house.
Worst decision I ever made. I'm an accomplished builder, I chose to use this on my own house after I had an issue with a sub. I literally ruined my floors, finish did not adhere even though directions were followed, appropriate dry times and 4 applications with a weighted felt applicator.I am not planning on moving all of my furniture from my house and re-sanding to remove the finish and going back with either an oil soft finish or a traditional oil based finish. In 2mo my floors have the surface of a 10yr old house at best.

Not as advertised!
Zero stars if I could. In the middle of a home renovation project and on a time frame and the sent a NAIL PLATE not a can of varnish! It’s not even close to the right weight, price, or item! This is a $66 nail plate not as advertised!

Almost immediately I began see what looked like light scuff marks
I used this finish on a floor that was previously finished with another product. The prior product lasted about 3 years before needing to be refreshed. The floor is in a kitchen that sees a fair amount of use. thought I would give this product a try as it was less expensive but claimed to be made for high traffic. I applied 3 coats per the instructions on the can. Almost immediately I began see what looked like light scuff marks. Now it is almost a year later and the floor looks entirely scuffed up. I do not recommend this product to anyone. I will go back to the prior finish which gave me 3 years of use and looked better than the floor finished with Varathane after only one year.
