If the adhesive does not stick try using a skin prep like Benzoin tincture compound ?
They look good ,Have not had a need to test them but they should work well .

Work well and reasonable price. Hold when the glue from hospital wouldn’t. Well worth the expense.

Adhesive failed too early.
Inknow there arew many pelple who seem to like this item but I will not use it again. I had a 1 inch long modistly deep on the flesh of a finger. I kept the wount under compression for 1/2 hour and then put on 2 Steristrips and 2 of these strips. The adhesive on the Med Pride Butterfly Closures failed in one day and required re bandaging. I tried them on the second closure after cleaning the wound edges and they failed too early again. There was no significant difference between where the the Steristrips were placed and where the Med Priode strips were placed. I will not buy or use the Med Pride product again if needed. I do not have any personal or financial interest in Steristrips.
