This is an unconventional review for this item as I am a dental student and brought this to use in removable prosthodontics lab when making occlusal rims. It is really useful and much better than the spatula my school gives us to use. It heats up really fast and is easy to manipulate the wax with. The grip is awesome and my hands never get hot from holding it. This spatula is truly non-stick! It is so easy to clean even after having a ton of wax on it. A few people in my class got one after seeing mines and they agree it is great for lab.

The combination of thin edge, non stick surface, and firm flexibility make this the ultimate "putty knife".Easily tapers spackle or JC down to a translucent thin layer. If you're careful, you won't even need to sand.I used it to fill voids in window sills with wood putty and it saved time eliminating the sanding step since the repair product could be tapered so thin.Can also be used for light scraping, but why would want to chance ruining this spackle scalpel.

Very good product, love the length and narrow blade. I personally had to remove the non-stick surface, because I would have to use it to clean areas of food contact, I cant have any of the non-stick coating break off.I can say the coating is on there securely, and had to do some work to remove it, but dust would invariably come off with abrasion, so depending on what you use it for, keep that in mind.I did test the non-stick surface on a couple things, and I would say it works pretty well, but its not what I need it for.

Fantastic idea for putty knife making it very easy to use and clean. These items are notoriously famous for getting dirty in spots that cannot be cleaned.

Seems to be well made with a great handle. However, if you want a flexible blade this is not it--even though it is sold and labeled as a flexible blade. Too bad, I like the width of the blade and construction of this tool, but it is only useful as a rigid blade good for scraping.

The headline says it all. Do not go cheap when you can have a quality product.

They are stiff as can be. They are not nonstick at all and the top coating comes off way too easy. I wish I would not have wasted my money.

Bought this to scrape off paint from a bathroom ceiling that was peeling. It was very sharp and made light work of the job.
