This is ideal for getting little ones on task. The checkmarks every day are exciting, as my daughter loves adding them up at the end of the week to get her "reward".

Cute quality design on a strong flat magnet. However, it does take some work to erase it at the end of the week. I ended up using a wet erase for the chores, which don't change much, and a dry erase for the check marks, which take some elbow grease to get off. The provided marker was fine but fell apart and dried out after a few weeks. I'm using it, it works fine, but I wouldn't buy it again.

i got 2, they are super cute however, they are hard to erase. this is both a good and bad thing. i don't want the chores getting erased every time i touch it but after the week is over when its time to erase the check marks i have to practically wash it. i have now learned they are not water proof, to avoid any lifting on the edged i spray the paper towel and use quite a bit of elbow grease. other than that they are perfect. also i use the dry erase marker that came with them, i might try another brand of marker for the checks and see if that erases any easier.

Two kids- 6 and 8- boy and girl. They both love earning their points and helping out. These things have been a game changer. Make up your own points based on how much time is realistic during weekdays. Nothing has to be done every day- they can do a couple a day or a bunch all in one day- they drive the bus. Also, my daughter is older so she had a slightly higher goal. Just have to stay positive and consistent! We made rules like every day things that we expect from you-like homework for example- doesn’t count. Also, we associate no negativity to this. So no losing points if they misbehave. They get their usual consequences for that. Also-they are in control of their points- so if you choose not to do it, that’s fine, you don’t get your point. Also, if we suggest that they clean their room and they throw a fit about the chore and we have to force them, they don’t earn a point. Points only come for chores you do on your own or with the first suggestion without argument. Great tool for parents!

I have a few dry erase boards like these on my fridge and this one is the only one I own where it is difficult to erase the dry erase markers. The kids and I love the designs and the ease of keeping track of their chores that are completed. The magnet is pretty strong and the list is a good size for it’s purpose.
