Only buy if you have larger injectors
This is a good purchase if you have aftermarket injectors. A 66mm compressor on a stock injector 7.3 is not a good recipe! You will be fighting EGTs constantly, even when not towing. The kit is of decent quality though, and fit well.

Decent for quality
Seems to be made of a decent material for the housing weights a little more then the stock and rebuilding went fairly smooth, I’m in the process of resealing my engine, so I haven’t ran it yet. Hoping for the best and for it to last! Running stock 9 blade exhaust turbine don’t want to go over board and blow something saying it’s only $ 280 with shipping. Not sure what the start gasket was for since I didn’t pull one off while disassemble of the turbo. I have a tuner on the truck for more fuel flow and heavier fuel pressure spring to hopefully compensate for egt’s. Will let know how if it’s worth it once installed on truck.

Junk
Well install went smoothly. Vsr balanced along with a kc modified s300 turbine shaft. Still the stock size shaft. Turbo was laggy. Wouldn’t ever light off. Max boost was around 22psi at 3500rpm. Then today the compressor wheel exploaded. Really confused is to why it wouldn’t make any boost honestly. I’ve built many 66/88 set ups for obs trucks and this is the first to have this issue. We even put a .88 ar quick spool housing on it and no gains. So we knew it was compressor side related. Just sad didn’t even last 100 miles.
