Good for what it is.
This is for 44 piece leather tool set(I feel I need to be specific because the reviews seem to be mixed with all of their leather products. That being said, I found it pretty nice as a beginner. For the price it definitely holds it's own (wish it had edge bevelers but beggers can't be choosers.) The tools seem like they will hold up until I want to upgrade to better tools and the Japanese skiving knife came pretty sharp like surprisimgly nice and sharp.

It is for beginners
Good for beginners, my owl broke and I've broke most of my needles, but it broke on really tick veg tan leather. Overall I am quite happy.

Basic set
Decent set for the price, good for occasional light use or someone just beginning in leathercraft as a bridge to getting nicer (better quality buy more expensive) tools.

Its ok, but you get what you pay for.
I'm new to leather crafting, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on premo-grade tools. I bought this kit because it had the essentials that I needed to get started, but when it arrived I was a bit disappointed. Upon opening, everything in the box looked like it was tossed inside. Yes, this could have happened during transit, but then there should have been proper packaging such as packing foam to ensure everything didn't flop around, and one the lesser tools was broken as well. Also, some of the tools didn't match the description: the edge beveler is more of a groove, and doesn't bevel well. The thread is less than what is shown, the hole punches are smaller, etc.All in all this is an ok starter pack, but I can see me needing to upgrade real soon.

A very good value for his kit
A very good value for his kit. The only issue I have with it is, the razor blade skiver doesn't work well.

Cheap quality, even for the price.
I was disappointed in the quality of these tools, even for the price. The polymer hammer heads fell apart almost instantly. The chisels are stamped out of metal with little to no finishing, they have hard sharp corners that cut into your hands. You definitely need to wear gloves just to punch holes in your leather. Many of the tools included are simply unusable like the skiver. There are a few saving graces here, it does come with a small fake piece of leather for you to make a small project with, the cutting surface is decent, and the chisels (while rough to use) are usable and sharp. The knife that comes with the kit is sharp and works well as a skiver, much better than the actual skiver. It does come with quite a bit of thread, enough for a few small projects.I would pass on this kit, your money can be better spent on something with fewer, higher quality tools.

Perfect for beginners
A value way to start leathercraft to see if you'll like it or not, then just upgrade as you go
